I can understand the sour grapes about Wolves because the company that owns them - Fosun - also owns a stake in Mendes' agency. But we have no such connection so I don't see the issue. It's not like we won't be paying for his assistance I'm sure.

It's about time Forest got connected, played the game and got promoted.

I don't know if anyone else has read "Family: Life, Death and Football" by Michael Calvin. It's a fly-on-the-wall book where the author was given totally unrestricted access to follow Millwall through their 2009/10 season, and very good it is too. Anyway, Lewis Grabban was at Millwall at the time and the book gives a bit of insight into his character. Obviously he was a lot younger then, but he seems quite a complex character and quite introverted - not necessarily what you expect from a Millwall player. He's also a devout Muslim and was struggling with the demands of Ramadan at one point.

What I'm saying is it's very easy to slag off a player or to claim they're not trying or look unhappy without actually knowing what's going on in the background. Hopefully he's just taking a bit longer to settle in than some of the others and he'll soon start showing us what he's capable of.

Being a Muslim or being an introvert doesn't stop you from trying.

The guy did not leave the floor to challenge for headers once all game even when he was the favourite to win it.

I hope he changes but in all my time watching football I have never seen a player do that before, I was disgusted tbh.

Pity about the missed pen - a goal is what he needs to get him up & running. He’s not your traditional target man though - when we start to play to his feet rather than ask him to consistently challenge giant centre halves in the air we should have more success.

Forest have been pressed high and handsome with Wigan's high octane game.  Forest flapped, panicked and hoofed it.  You're not getting the best out of Grabban that way.

Car' did a brilliant pass to Grabban vs Oldham to get the equaliser was it?  Do it like that?  Grabban will put it away.  As composed a finish as you'll see.

Well, you were there, Bad Dog.  You always call things straight.  Can't argue with that.

He had a reputation for having a languid style at Villa before we even signed him.  He's probably frustrated that he's being hoof balled to...and wants it to feet (see my other post) however...you should leave it all out there on the pitch.  For what Grabban's being payed?
