I hope so

It's a no brainer. If it didn't crop up during the negotiations then they need bloody shooting.

But if the player has decided that he wants to join Liverpool and has let Liverpool know that, then the priority for Oly might have been to simply screw the best possible price for a want away player, not to add on all kinds of stipulations about lending players to a sister club. Things are never easy with transfers and a club like Liverpool at the moment are unlikely to be forced into anything they dont want to do. And anyway, agents hold all the power these days.

Liverpool have apparently given Olympiakos a list of players available for loan.
I wonder...

Yep. Both clubs. Us and Olympiakos. The negotiators listened to us  :)

Just had a quick look at who might realistically be available from Liverpool who would improve us.

Sheyi Ojo. Winger
Isaac Christie Davies midfield
Nat Phillips central defence
Herbie Kane midfield

Most of the above will be looking at a further loan about Championship level. Brewster will either stay with the main squad or another loan but probably to Bundesliga. A warning, like most big clubs they have a lot of peripheral players and development squad with little experience which definitely isn't what we want to end up with.

Top of list should be
Brewster
Curtis jones
Ben Woodburn

Ben Woodburn is not the talent they thought, he has not progressed and could not make oxfords team.

The other 2 however would be quality, add ojaria as reading are stalling.

Brewster will not be loaned to the Championship again.
Ejaria has been loaned to Reading for the last 3 seasons, not convinced he is much.
Curtis Jones very young never really played at any level. We complain when we get players like him from Portugal.

Could do with a couple of killer loans.

Kieron Dowell? Norwich picked him up.

Needs to get a handful of perms that fix the depth gap along the spine of the side.

A monster at ch. An ACM who...can mix it up...hold it up...win and score free kicks. Defence splitting pressure and guile...another winger with biting pace and can take a kick...a cm deep lying playmaker...and another striker....who can hold it up and rough until defences.

And we have Watson replacement.

SA.

Jones just won PL 2 (under23) player of season and also looked class in league cup outings , ben woodburn was flying for oxford before he got injured , lockdown hit and he never really got his season going .
Brewster only had 1/2 a season at swansea im sure klopp would like him to have a full year somewhere which PL team would he start for week in week out ?

Jones does look exciting, just unproven and would be a gamble. Woodburn I dont know about.
Brewster I read that Klopp sees him either as part of the senior squad or a prem/overseas loan, they loan quite a few out to Germany, Phillips just played a year there.
