With all respect, why would Ben Brereton want to sign for Blackburn Rovers?
I could understand him going on loan and coming back to Forest ready to replace Murphy next season.
But why would he want to make a permanent move to Blackburn?
In all honesty, I think he could do a lot better for himself.

Yeah, me too but all the top clubs in the champ are now sorted for their strikers and the ffp situation doesnt allow clubs to have an expensive punt on a youngster. If he wants to play every week Blackburn may be his only option.

I just hope there are other football people in the club (metgod, brazil etc) who had had a close look at him and decided this is the best move for the club because managers these days make short term decisions as their tenure is short term.
Not sure this is AK’s decision - unless he has a couple of signings ready to confirm if/when B.B. leaves.

As I’ve said before:
1. BB or his agent must surely be driving this?
2. Blackburn have played a blinder by waiting until PL window closed & getting a free run without any obvious competition ( unless RB Leipzig or similar come in ).

No, Premier League clubs can't bring players in now until January.

Apparently Mowbray is unhappy.
Sounds like we’re moving some of the goalposts.
Suggestion that they are moving onto other targets but could be brinkmanship to force the deal through.

He is a very good player with huge potential. He could have a great future with us or we could sell him later for a fortune. What an earth are we thinking about, selling him to Blackburn Rovers? It's wrong and it makes no sense. Get him on the pitch against Birmingham.

Maybe it’s hype rather than potential?
I would like to see him play to put the argument to bed one way or another. He didn’t score goals prolifically last season in a poor team whereas Oliveira did under Dougie.
I wonder why the Club are allowing the deal to happen?

All summer long I've been watching these fabulous new players coming in and waiting for the catch.
Well this is it. The sale of our most precious talent for a 1 season shit or bust push.
It's Fawazesque in the making.

I don't think we should sell Brereton, but to call it Fawazesque is absurd.
