Good question. I would imagine that the players will be back in first week in August so we should know this week whether Sabri stays or goes.

I believe Paul Taylor said that the players would be back for preseason on 17/8 so still a lot of time left to do the necessary recruiting.

Sounds a bit late to me too but Taylor might be right.

Regarding Sabri the silence is deafening.

I'd say.  A new candidate being given the shake down for the job.

Not sure Eddie Howe would accept just being a head coach, after he has been practically running everything at Bournemouth.

I am sure he would want to have his own signings, and to be fair to him, he knows the English Leagues and he knows what it takes to get out of the championship.

The next step for him is massive.

Doesn't sound like he would be a good fit if that is the case ^^

Eddie Howe doesn’t travel well - failed at Burnley! I also don’t think he is that good - great record at Bournemouth but I’d imagine he’d struggle elsewhere. I know a few Cherries fans and they wanted him sacked. Joke really - that club is a third division club!

not really excited about anyone but i'd prefer Nigel Pearson over Eddie Howe. Eddie has achieved quite alot and nothing to prove and maybe would prefer a few months off, he can easily get another gig. Ultimately i think i prefer someone a bit nasty and hungry and I'd go Nigel Pearson, he's made a few mistakes but I think he'd be very determined and have lots and lots of bottle. I think Eddie would settle for a nice steady top half finish while Nigel would be clamouring for promotion like a rabid rottweiller.

The club are hardly going to come out with a.statement to say we've decided not to sack the manager!

Correct.

The silence is probably because nobody is currently there as they are all on their holidays.

Accept the silence as there being no change and we go again.....................until it is reported otherwise. The same applies to any transfers.

Really ? The most boring football tactics I’ve seen for years . No creativity in midfield . Home record abysmal . What’s to look forward to under him ?

Javi Gracia gone to Valencia.

Carvalhal going to Braga.

Those were two of the names being touted to replace Sabri if he is removed or decides to move on.

I would still stick with Sabri. I think he makes the squad better than it actually is. With some quality added then i wouldn't be surprised to see us come out more attacking but right now we don't have the players that allow others to be more attack minded and take risks.
