They all could have played a part.
Bizarre. Who's decision was that?
Milosovic was exactly the kind of defender that we needed v Stoke. Madness to let him go.
big Ben and he were a first pairing and had largely stopped Forest conceding bully boy goals.
Yacob could easily have subbed for Sow.
Chema. Classy player.
to me? They save you that goal that turfed us out.
they stop a lot of that mental fragility.

So. Yes the Coach is accountable.
He had no answer on the end.
But there is plenty of blame to go around.
A collective failure of flawed...systemically fragile leadership.

I'd love to know what the issue was with Yacob. Came into the side ages after signing and did really well i thought. Looked class on the ball, could receive it under pressure, control it, and play it on. Then he drops out of the side and is never seen again. I wonder if he had a few night outs with Daryl Murphy or something? It was around the same time. Same with Milosevic, in and then out.

Politics. Maybe the coach didn't want them.
came back to haunt him with the punishing champion ship schedule leaving Sabri's small squad philosophy cruelly exposed. CH and CM were worn out in the end with no back up. Eg Yacob was a proven performer and Bostock was not. Milo was a silky and robust performer whilst at times both Worrall and Fig seemed green and naive. Eg Worrall shoved off the ball I doubt Milo would have been.
politics. Can make liars of us all.

I said I wouldn't care as much this season.
But I'm still angry.
I can only imagine the paint stripping tear down Clough would have given for that Stoke performance.

Bridcutt too. he could have helped us out.
Take Bridcutt, Milosevic, Chema and Yacob out of any squad in the Championship and that squad will suffer.
But surely no club would ever do that would they...

Yes - I was thinking about bridcutt. He could have slotted in alongside any of them and also could have given benny Watson a much needed rest. I found it hard to fathom the complete bombing of Brennan Johnson too. His energy against Barnsley / stoke would have been useful

He did yes but he also had a contract at Forest.
I am sure that we could have come to an agreement where he left at the end of the season instead of half way through it. Agree ... he wanted to leave because he wasnt playing. Being away from the family is already hard but with nothing to show for that ( see for some people money is not everything)... its nog as if he was a 21 year old like Carvalho, Diaz etc ... hd was at an age were hd expects to play ... especially with a second tier team ...

Bridcutt. Another short sighted dispatch.
could pass. Could leave his foot in.
had a goal in him.
was captain of a top 6 Leeds team.

Manager after manager here didnt rate Bridcutt. And Leeds and Brighton (was it?) bombed him out too. He's clearly not as good as the fans think he is, or he's got a bad attitude, or doesn't 'knock on the manager's door' enough.

I wouldn't have had a single one of those 4 in our matchday squad despite recent results. They wouldnt have improved us, would have been the same outcome. Need to stop accumulating mediocre players to succeed.
