#nffc to take their time deciding what happens next, after the implosion. Would have settled for 7th in June when it was "Sabri Who?", season before lockdown v good. But 10 points from 9 games inexcusable in that position & clearly wider issues than Lamouchi. Not a time to panic

Reassuring that we won't be using lamouchi as scapegoat for failings that go back to January. An opportunity to review the whole lot and hopefully put in place a clear ethos for the club. We finished 7th. We probably over achieved for most of the season. We have to be objective about this.

No point papering over the cracks with another management change if the club then goes and makes the same mistakes again

That said, I will be surprised if lamouchi is still in charge come September (or whenever this season starts)

I for one hope not. He deserves until christmas with us top half. If he maintains the anti football he has to be towards the top though!!!

He may agree to change his methods and to promote domination of matches and, in particular, to press aggressively after scoring. But this would not be enough for me because he has shown many times that he is fundamentally defensive and this I believe has disrupted belief in him in the dressing room as well as on the terraces. We saw against Millwall and Sheffield Wed that the tactical methodology that dismissed the belief that possession brought success was wrong. His isolation of Carvalho proves this as do his results once our oppositions had got the hang of playing against us. It's time to go.

To be fair I think he's referring to the pandemic there and issues surrounding finances

We can’t keep sacking managers. It’s worked a treat for 20 years hasn’t it. Everybody learn from their mistakes, dust ourselves down and go again. Whoever is in charge of recruitment does need sacking though.
