You'd assume so, Sabri would've surely signed it at the time too given things were looking so certain

Surely any break clauses would apply to next season - not this one - given when it was signed.

Then we will have to pay more to recruit a new manager and his staff. All of this counts against FFP andwe will undoubtedly have to sell one of our academy players to fund it.

But carry on sacking managers Forest, its a system thats worked brilliantly for the last 21 years.
I agree but what happened last night was unprecedented. Some compare it to Leeds last year but the play off second leg was against a team that had as much to gain from winning as Leeds did. It was a competitive game.
We were playing a Stoke side that has achieved safety. They had nothing to play for and we're just seeing out the season. Had we gone full blood and guts then we should have won. We should have pushed on at 1-1. We chose to go negative knowing that Reading had 10 men.

They committed footballing suicide. Unless it is the 90th minute and a draw is enough you try to win games. That is what angered me. Even when we went behind, there was no reaction.
I don't know how you come back from last night.

Am I going to be refreshing this thread all day Sniff - or can you put us all out of our misery?

Stoke tried to win last night, and they tried to put us out. From team selection, subs to game management of taking it into the corner when we needed a goal. You can argue we shouldn’t have got that result, but they were definitely trying to turn us over. They weren’t just seeing out the season.

It is well documented that to get out of this league teams have to score lots of goals, check you history for the last 20 years.
Negative thinking managers are no good to an aspiring club like Forest.

Also agree with most that player recruitment has generally been poor and the axe should also fall on these guys.

As a club we lack real direction and an ethos on how we will play our football, no leadership or communication with the fans from the top.

Lets take a step back an plan a route to the top and over a number of years not promotion is a MUST every season, at present we just shake the bag every season and have our fingers crossed that lady luck will get us to the promised land.

You could argue that is because they saw that we were there for the taking - definitely after we equalised. Had we continued to press then I imagine they would have settled for the draw. Instead they saw a side that got afraid the moment we had something to defend.
We made it easy for them

Has Lamouchi actually left the building?

I suspect that the big man is sounding out other prospective coaches before deciding on his future.

The only problem for Sabri will be that he is now tarred with the negative tactics brush and I fear he will over compensate and we end up with a warburton start. He’ll be gone by October anyway!
