I feel for the man because nobody can deny he is a lovely fella.

This wouldn’t surprise me at all. I said to my mate on the phone last night this would be considered failure and in the manner it occurred it wouldn’t go down well at all.

Genuinely gutted on this one, not convinced he'd have done better next year but then can't see anyone else doing any better and its just more funds lost on sacking him and getting a new manager in. Teams very rarely go up with a new manager so statistically its not helpfuk

7th is failure.

falling out the play offs.

Abject faliure.

His remit was promotion. Lamouchi would have been aware that failure would likely cause him to lose his job. Last night was failure on an epic scale

you`d hope relevant clauses being in place on recent contract signiing. I`m sad if this is true but he signed his own death sentence with such negative displays verus resilient.

So weeks after awarding him a new contract we will have to pay it up to get rid of him plus all his staff. Then we will have to pay more to recruit a new manager and his staff. All of this counts against FFP andwe will undoubtedly have to sell one of our academy players to fund it.

But carry on sacking managers Forest, its a system thats worked brilliantly for the last 21 years.

Surely we had a break clause in that new contract if we didnt meet the objective of finishing in the top 6?

As much as I like him, the way we have finished this season is terrible.

5 in defence vs Barnsley one of the strangest things I have ever seen.

Defensive managers tend to just miss out, and we miss out to attacking teams and have done for years.
