It's the biggest bottle job I've ever witnessed as a Forest supporter and Sabri sounded absolutely shattered last night. Even if he kept the job I'm not sure he comes back from what's happened.
I'd also add it won't just be the last couple of disastrous games that will be on EM's mind but the form since February 1st isn't great if we're honest: 17 games 4 wins 7 draws 6 losses, just over 1 point per game for over a third of the season, that isn't good enough for a team with aspirations of promotion.
That is a good point Psycho and something that I have thought about. It's such a short close season and the bloke is absolutely in pieces. A bad start to the new season and then what would happen? It's a difficult one for EM.

I’m still too raw. At the moment I can’t see me spending any more time effort and money on this shower. Feel totally let down and couldn’t give a toss about any of them.

Worralls mistake against derby was a big blow too. We played well that day and deserved the win.
Overall though I feel we havent been playing well consistently for a long time

Sabri's a likeable guy and he was doing a properly good job....but. I don't think we can go into next season with him in charge. He doesn't seem to be able to change his tactics, something that is okish if you play an attacking brand, but if you are always defensive then it makes it too easy for opposition teams to nullify. An attacking mindset, you can still improve your defence and you can improve the way you move the ball around in the final third to score more. When setup defensively, you can improve your counter attacks but the opposition just need to press us high up so the ball out from the back is of poor quality and as long as they haven't committed everyone forward then they still have a defensive structure to stop our attacks (plus the carp ball from the back means they have more chance of getting more defenders back). That coupled with playing the game near our goal means that opposition teams can just keep pumping balls into our box and more often than not, the pressure will tell. Liverpool and Leicester are labelled as being counter attacking teams....but you never see them scrambling around on their own goal line like we do for large parts of the game. Sabri's system also requires the players putting a lot more effort in...it's much harder chasing the ball than keeping it so it's no surprise that the squad is supposedly jaded.
I don't really buy into the poor squad thing or poor attacking players. I think there are a number of players that would do well with the right setup and mindset. If we do change the manager I suspect we will see some of them improve dramatically.
I genuinely like Sabri's manner and think he did really well. But you need to be more flexible and I think as others have said, he's been found out. Next season will be a very poor one in comparison to this one if we carry on with him in my opinion, unless he's prepared to change the way he sets us up, particularity at home. I'd prefer if he stayed and changed his approach....but given there have been a number of moments through the season that should have acted as the wake up call, I'm not sure that'll happen.

In all honesty we never recovered from it. It well and truely knocked the stuffing out of everyone. Not blaming Worrall but the last minute goal itself.

Think it depends on the squad after the 'break'
who is got rid of and who is brought in will be vital- and if Sabri is out then those players brought in are MORE important as they have to fit the club ethos and that of the incubent manager

My thoughts are -
Over reliance on Watson - good season but like the tactics got sussed by the opposition - not dynamic enough
Poor midfield - sow played with injury and was a poor imitation of himself pre injury, Yates just not good enough with the ball- other midfielders poor all round - silva OK ish.
Poor recruitment - Swansea getting Brewster and Gallagher - they would have improved us.
Poor decisions in final games by Sabri and players within matches.

All the midfielders we had like bostock semedo carvalho and we kept having to play a half crippled sow. That's down to poor recruitment .
Being honest I wouldn't be surprised if silva left. He has talked about wanting to play in spain. Let's see how that goes.

It's a no for me. Has to go. Sweep that broom and go again. If i went through every game this season there wss a fair few where he f****d it up. You can forgive when results pick up Inbetween but when you witness a performance like that theirs just no coming back.
Plenty of other managers in the past have fsllen on their sword for things like last night and he won't be no different.

Keep Sabri.
Ditch the recruitment team in favour of one that knows what is required in the Championship ( totally different requirement to the Greek league ).
Sell Carvalho - since Sabri clearly won’t play him.
Ditch Worrall - take the cash. We can do better - for less money.
Get Taylor, Colback et al.
Do whatever is needed to keep Cash for one more season.
