When he was going for a ball on Saturday his marker was dragging him so he stopped a second and just shoved him with two arms. I like his aggression and enthusiasm. He's physical

If I can be critical just for the purposes of debate, I didn't think he looked particularly impressive with the ball at his feet. But, we've only seen what, about 15 minutes of him so far (?), so a bit harsh to say that at this stage. He looked almost over eager to make an impression, that might be why. I cant wait for him to settle down, get some more game time and let him show us what he's about. Got to say though, his finish was excellent - he clearly know where the goal is.

Compare him to Grabban who is the opposite - he's shown that he's comfortable with ball to feet but so far has lacked a killer finish on the 2 or 3 chances he's had for us so far.

I'd play Soudani on Tuesday for 90 minutes, alongside Brereton.

I can see no reason whatever to play Brereton ahead of Soudani or Grabban. Both need match sharpness and the chance of goals against Bury. Brereton should not be ahead of either of those two come saturday.

I see where you're coming from but there's no way Grabban's going to play. Soudani, Murphy and Brereton all need game time.

Yeah, Brereton has defiantly had a bit of a difficult time over the last 6-9 months after an excellent start to his career with us. It's a difficult one, he's not going to get any significant game time with us but if we let him go we're going to need replacement cover.

I can see us monitoring the loan market up until the end of the month, getting some cover in if someone becomes available and letting him out on loan. I'm guessing that was the plan last week, hence these stories of him going to Blackburn, but it was scuppered after the incoming striker didn't materialise.
