Nottingham Forest - Huddersfield
Da Costa, first impressions for me, keen, good dribbler, quick and seemed very confident, I think he will be an asset.

I hammered Yates last week (deservedly) but thought he did very well today. Not just his strength and tackling but his passing was much better. He really played it simple and looked for feet-massive improvement. I thought lots played well today as others have said but thought ribeiro had one of his best games for us

Yates is very good at winning second balls, which should never be under estimated in this league.

if you lose 2nd balls in this league you lose games.

Sow is the best we have at winning duels and second balls, but Yates is comfortably next in line.

When you have a player like Yates you have to make sure the balance is right. Today it was as it gave Silva license to roam. Brennan struggled to get into the game but he will learn quickly

I think you forgot Watson here. He's certainly not bad at winning duels and second balls.

Just realized that Ameobi is now 5th in the assists chart with 8. That's impressive.

Just shows how terrible Huddersfield are and rightly in a relegation scrap when someone like Yates Can have a half decent game.

I believe it is important that we all keep in mind that players haven't trained together nor played any competitive games in 3 months. It will take some time before they are firing on all cylinders. It's unfair to start lashing out at players because every pass isn't inch perfect.

Delighted with the win, we made hard work of the first half, game could have been very different had the penalty against Watson been given but thats football. Our back 5 looks its usual confident unit and as long as Grabban stays fit we will put our chances away. What have we learnt.
Silva isnt a defensive mid.
Johnson isnt ready yet, needs a loan next season, same goes for Mighten.
Yates can do it.
There is a player in Da Costa. I never want to see Diakhaby on the pitch again in place of him.

I thought the empty stadium worked in our favour yesterday in that the players didn't have the fans on their back when they were struggling a bit in the first half. With no fans then we can sit back and play a game closer to our away game set-up, which has been so successful this season.
