I thought he was still here but could be wrong. I thought I saw him on one of the training photos last week.

Yep, asking of Sow is going to fit for Saturday is like putting on a comfy pair of slippers.

It is such a shame that he has so much time sidelined. Question is, can we afford to keep these types of players as they rarely improve over time?
Yes, we mostly do well when he plays, but to what extent do we continue to hope that he gets over his injury problems and plays regularly?

Harsh maybe but yates for me in midfield is as good as a loss.

Time for Bostock to grab his chance?

I would definitely play bostock. He has much more ability than yates and his confidence is up.

Wednesday had lost 9 out of their previous 14 games  including 5-0 thrashing by brentford

Think Bostock will play on Saturday, if Watson out a central 3 of Bostock, Silva and Carvalho.

on paper that sounds like a very technically able 3- whether it is effective on the pitch is another story...?

Yes I know it gets bullied doesnt it? But Yates is the only other central player we have with Semedo no longer here. Can move Lolley to the front of that 3 but doesnt solve anything.

Has Semedo been sent packing? Anyone know?

Semedo is still here - he played against Wolves and the in house game a few days ago.

the midfield options are
Deep playmaker - Watson, Bostock, Mcguane
Box to box - Sow, Semedo, Yates
advanced midfielder - Silva, Carv

for me it’s 1 from each section.
you could play Silva in the box to box role and accommodate Carv

i think Sabri’s top choice is Watson, Sow and Silva
then I reckon it’s Bostock, Yates, Carv

+1

fully agree.

watson and Bostock together wouldn’t /doesn’t work - not enough mobility.

what you lose without Watson is his game management and organisation.
technically Bostock is very good, just doesn’t have the same leadership qualities and game management

Is McGuane a deep playmaker? I saw a bit of video on the twitter and he seems quite adventurous.

There are options but if we are going to be missing BOTH Watson and Sow then it's a massive blow.
