The old East Stand and Bridgford End with the old scoreboard. The photo is from 1978.

It was more exciting in those days waiting for the half time scores to go up on that old scoreboard. The man in a peaked cap would go to letter H and stick a 1 up in the window. You had to check the back page of the programme to see it was Derby, then wait for the chap to go find the next number. Tension as he moved the step ladders then reached up to place a 3, then cheers as everyone had checked their programme again to see that it was Leeds. The whole process took nearly the whole of half time which, then, was only 10 minutes

What a cracking photo. I can see John McGovern parading the League Cup on the pitch. Great to see a packed East Stand and the old scoreboard. Wonderful memories.
