Last night showed how poor our January window was, no quality cover for an injury prone player. Shocking and embarrassing. I’m not even angry, just resigned.

I dont know if Millwall were good or we were bad, agree Woods ran the show last night yet he was poor at Stoke? And Mason Bennett caused us all sorts of problems yet I always thought he looked a total donkey when I saw him with the Sheep. Is Rowett a better manger than some give him credit for and is moulding some average players into a very good team?

Tbh I think we’ve been average for a while now, we’ve played poorly and scraped points. Hopefully we can gain enough points to stay in the playoffs, we will see.

Basically we lost the midfield battle. I agree with Straws that it could have been very different with Sow on the pitch.

Which brings us back to the transfer window, one of our most influential payers is very injury prone and we don’t bring in a decent replacement, that could cost us promotion.

There is Silva, Semedo, Bostock, Yates. How many Sow replacements do we want? They are all capable at this level or should be. We didn't lose last night because of Samba Sow. The whole team were poor and the whole team lost. Cash was poor, Lolley was poor, Samba was poor. Some players seem excused from criticism. We win together, we lose together.

The stalwarts who were poor look unsurprisingly nackard.
Woods would have made a great signing. We play 3 CM's, and it's been clear Semedo's not good enough as anything more than late game energy for ages. Plenty of room for someone like him. Your quite right Sniffer, they should be but the aren’t. Silva is but is injured, Yates isn’t there yet, Semedo isn’t interested and Bostock didn’t start. |
