Carvalho & Bostock deserve a start, but it's a much tougher game for either to influence than a tiring Boro.
Think we'll come unstuck here tbh

Yep, fingers crossed for Sow. I'm not getting on the 'play Bostock' bandwagon yet as he needs to do more than put in a cameo 15 minute performance to convince me that he's the answer. The manager has thought he's not been good enough all season, so I'll take his word for it. But, Yates and Semedo are simply no kind of replacement for the ball playing Silva, who's absence last night highlighted how important it is that we have a player on the pitch who can receive the ball under pressure and make a play. Carvalho simply has to play. Bring him off at half time if he's not performed and then chuck on your Yates or Semedo if we're chasing the game. Nothing to lose by doing so IMO. That's my opinion but I know what the manager will do. He'll play Diakhaby.

Bostock looked good and you have to wonder what has gone on behind the scenes / in training for him to have spent months way down the pecking order. However, he looked even less inclined to go forward than Watson, so I can't see both of them playing in a home game. Whilst he obviously has his faults, Yates has a good enough engine to get up and down the pitch and support the attack.

I seem to remember Semedo being touted after 45 minutes at Cardiff.

Not sure about Bostock to start, but why not give Walker his chance instead of Diakahby.
He done good at lincoln and deserves a go now. Sow and Carvalho can see us through.

Or Mighten?

I’m expecting that Cash won’t make it so Sow needs to step back in to provide some balance otherwise it may end up like Charlton.

Think Cash is carrying an injury but he lasted 90 mins last night.
I really want Carvalho to get a run of games but I wonder if the one team I would NOT play him against is Millwall. |
