Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up?

Isn’t that the reality of our current position? 2 points from 3 games.

Win the next three then it could be very different again.

Unfortunately I think the run in for Leeds will see them claim second.

What is wrong with that? Is a play off spot a failure or something?

Not at all, but having to scrape in, goes back to my whole point about the wasted January transfer window. Instead of going for it, seems we are now trying to hang on.

Plus another 90 plus minutes without Grabban scoring, shame as we have no quality on bench to rest or replace him

I didnt think Grabban looked like he needed resting. He just had no effect on the game on Saturday. I may be wrong but I don't recall him missing a gilt edged chance?

Yep I am consistent whilst others seem to be changing their mind and can start to see what i called earlier.

Changing their mind about what? Automatic promotion? Who said that? You have a link?

Why don't you take your recruitment issue up directly with the club, directly with the people involved? If it's bothering you that much. Contact them and tell them. No need to keep chucking it down our throats every day.

They were my first posts for nearly a week lol

I thought this it’s what forums are for

Also, does anyone else think some posters on here have several accounts?

And love to take it up with the people directly involved, have you got a number or email for me?

No. I am sure you can find one if you really want to and try hard enough. Let me know how you get on.

It’d be nice to discuss the topic in hand chaps.

Over the course of a season, a pattern usually develops.

It seems that Forest have established theirs. 'Nearly' for autos but just short of the depth in certain positions to have the killer instinct for 2nd. You can observe that in the points easily let go. Forest aren't quite ready for 2nd.

The key pattern this season for Forest is how they play with and without Sow. And that couldn't be clearer. They just haven't got the killer instinct, the bite, the energy and the engine room to put teams to the sword without him.

But if they keep Sow fit (or nurse him along) they may hold on to a top 6.

If Sow isn't fit they won't do it.

I dare say that if Sow had been fit for all the season so far they'd sit 2nd.

Sow has been very good and the stats back it up. Combative and gives others confidence to attack. I think his emergence has clouded the fans judgement of others in midfield though. Yates for example gets pellets now and for me is a little undeserved. Sow isn’t perfect though - cost is a goal v wba and should have had a few goals too.

West Brom v Preston tomorrow.

We really need a West Brom win I reckon.
