am i the only 1 who thinks Joe Worrall won the game for us v Leeds? He won a 50/50 and went rampaging forward, about the first time in 10 years a Forest CB has carried the ball over the half way line, he was even trying to play 1.2's off Sammy and Ribs even a few feet from Leeds penalty box, the 'amazing' highlights miss all of this, the move was breaking down but big Joe's presence high up field meant Leeds were rushing the ball forward but we had overloaded there left side a bit and retook possession and had Leeds short at their right back trying to break on us, hence Sammy Ammy being put in clear by Ribs when he scored.

Worrall played very well against Leeds (and has been all season). We won against Leeds because everyone played well.

Think we need to enjoy the moments of having players like Joe and Matt in the team while we can as if we don't make the pemiership this year we know they will be there with someone else.

Although getting players to sign new contracts doesn't actually mean we wont be selling them in the next window.
I wonder if worrall will stay ?

Of course new contracts pushes up the price if we are forced to sell. New contracts also ensure that both Worrall and Cash would have stayed if we had got promotion. I can't see the problem with offering new contracts to players?

Apart from those thinking it was tying down best young players building the long term future of the club. Yes it means we get a good price, but shows contracts don’t mean anything, unless of course you are. Clough, Pantmillion, benayoune, Hefele and now the likes of Bong and Jenkinson. Who aid we could get off the wage bill would help much more than selling cash and Worrall this summer.
More like getting promoted with the likes of cash and Worrall than without them.

Exactly Widdow. I’m getting sick to the back teeth of this. I bet both cash and Worrall would be fine to stay one more season too. They’re invested in the club- yet we will end up with mercenaries like benalouane who stick around like a bed smell draining the club of cash not bothered if they play or not. For about 3 months he was swanning off around Southern Europe on our pay roll no use to anyone.
Sick of this crap recruitment undoing the academy’s sterling work

I wouldn’t be so disappointed to see Worrall leave. If we could get say £10m for him I believe he could be replaced for half that price with no discernible downturn in quality.
Cash? Now he is totally different.

Can't argue with that TPL

That is exactly how it would have been if we had got promoted.
Unfortunately we didn't.
