It's nice to have a player like Worrall, like Cash.
They've dreamt of playing for 'their club.'
And they want to go up. With us.
It's good for Joe to get his reward. He took his medicine at Rangers.
He's come back a Colossus.
SA.

Good to see him rewarded.
Although getting players to sign new contracts doesn't actually mean we wont be selling them in the next window.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to trot that one out :)
Even in a positive we have to find a negative :(

Hey. Got to have a bit of Yin and yang
And said it because that is what has happened in the past including the new owners. Appiah only signed a new contract this time last season and then was sold on, same as Brerton and burke and Britt before them. All on good deals I must add.
we held onto cash in January, and it was lucky we got him to sign a new contract to allow us to do so. Yet in the summer that could be seriously tested again if we don’t get promotion.
As sausage roll said we do have more leverage if premier clubs come knocking like. I did say it was fully rewarded

Unfortunately it's a fact of life for clubs that have been outside the PL for so long. FFP means our owner can't just throw unlimited money at the club so we have to raise it somehow.
Anyone, back on track, Joe seems absolutely chuffed to have signed a new deal. Good to see.

If we're still in championship or makes sense to sell one of Cash or Worrall. Given we lose around £20m a year (based on latest accounts) before player sales, we need to sell a player a year to meet FFP.
Hopefully next accounts will show improvements due to the recent attendance levels but probably only a few million.
Who would you prefer to sell Worrall or Cash?
