The World Famous City Ground In Pictures
It is an impressive football location, probably the best in the world.

Be even greater when the new stand is built.

Who remembers this beauty then?

They used to put the halft time and full time scores in the window under each letter and you had to look at the back of the match programme to see which match was A, which match was B etc etc.

Happy days  :)

/\ Yes, the A,B,C etc is where they put the Halftimes, you had to look in the Programme to see which letter corresponded with which Match.
I think the A,B, C etc was also hung on the wall around the pitch....maybe?????

It may be 'old'...but from a distance...that is quite a looker of a ground. Authentic and distinct. Iconic.

I hope that carries over to the new design phase of the 'New City Ground.'

Iconic location.
