So this is how I see things.

Looking at stats I reckon 73 points will secure a play off spot.

So 22 needed - 6/7 wins and a couple of draws.

For Automatic we will prob need 2ppg over last 16 games. That will put us on 83 and give us a great chance.

3 out of next 4 are at home, so we can go well towards securing that play off spot.

I think it’s a great time to play Leeds, they look like they have hit a wall. They will suit us as well as they will come on to us, however, without Phillips they do look vulnerable defensively.

No 2nd place team has got less than 89 points for the last 6 years but if you want a glimmer of hope Hull made 2nd place with 79 pts in 2013.
Certainly 24 points from 16 games to make top 6 should be achievable.

I'm beginning to get a pissed off with all this now. I know it's doing us a favour being under the radar and all that, but after 10 years of being no-ones, I'd quite like a bit of respect from the media for once. We've been to Fulham and won, beaten Brentford home and away, won away at Swansea, drawn at Leeds, drawn at Bristol. Apart from West Brom (where Muric handed them the win) none of the current  top 10 has yet managed to beat us. What more does this team have to do to earn a bit of respect?

Not sure what his opinion is based on exactly.

We are right in amongst them and I am convinced that Leeds who are currently second are no better than us.

I feel your pain Pap, but in all honesty, what does it matter what the media think of us?

We had the same issues when we won the Div 1 title. Even up to a couple of games before we drew with Coventry, they were waiting for our 'bubble to burst'! The same when we won the European Cup, the likes of the BBC (Bob Wilson, John Mottson and Jimmy Hill) were writing off our chances.

What did we do? we went and won the titles and the cups and then laughed at the bastards.
