surely i deserve the credit for this, i highlighted to Zico he was the only ever player in the entire history of the correct score predictions to actually predict the opposing team winning and basically wondered if there were issues and if he our dear brother needed help After decades of supporting the reds we all need help, especially after the last two!

Sorry Zico, I've just noticed that I've dropped an almighty bollock in the final scores and points table. :blush:
You predicted 0-1 HT and 1-1 FT. For some reason, I've given you the full 7 points instead of the 3 you did actually win ( 2 points for the FT and 1 point for Match Result). So when i do the league table later, the league table will show the amended points and not the ones above. :s
Sorry for this c**k up! :blush:
I'm sure the EFL and Sky have dropped similar balls up before now...................but then again, maybe not!

I am looking for a consensus from the readership of this great Forum and welcome your opinion.
As part of the predictions totals, there is a section for 'Result'. What would you sooner have if the match is drawn? Score draw/No score draw predictions or a simple Draw, irrespective of whether goals have been scored or not?
So far, I have used the Score draw/No score draw results, but would be happy to change the prediction to just simply a draw.
Any change will affect just one player by giving him/her an extra point.
I will leave this open for debate until Sunday lunchtime, then I will go with the majority opinions

1 point for the correct HT score.
1 point for the correct FT score.
3 points for being correct at both HT and FT.
It all seems far to complicated at the moment.
Just my opinion though. You are in charge of it!

The scoring, to be totally perfect and clever and in harmony with nature really has to be based on the Fibonacci scale, which starts 0, 1. 1. 2, 3. 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987 ...
The benefit here being that the Fibonacci scale also relates to shapes and music so instead of just looking at the pure biggest number your results can be plotted onto graph paper to form shapes and even into music or if you like there is a poetic structure based on Fibonacci mathematical scale. Just saying.

At the end of the day, seeing as we have started this league quite a way into the season, I am using this season as a trial, then rolling it out fully next season proper. So there will be changes made from time to time
A lot of it is a bit hit and miss at the moment, until we can find the correct balance, that everyone is happy with.
I am open to any suggestions people may have about how to improve things, as well as any constructive criticism along the way.
This isn't 'my' league, it is the COYR Forum league, I have only taken it on to get it up and running and to update it on a weekly basis, which I am more than happy to do so, therefore everyone is entitled to comment, make suggestions etc until such time that we can publish a full set of rules so we all know what is going on and start it proper at the start of next season. :huh:
So please anyone who is unsure about something, or doesn't like something about how it is being done presently, please make your feelings known now, so it can be looked into and remedied if needs be :shy:
