Siampanis, Lawrence-Gabriel ©, Gallacher, Fornah, Stewart, Barnes, Sole (Walsh 79’), Edser, Hayes (Swan 88’), En-Neyah, Asare
Subs not used: Wright, Rama, Hammond
Goals: Hayes 41’, Asare 63

just in case anyone was curious as to the line up, seems Sabri was at the game

i also notice that aren't there usually a couple of more senior players in these games, and no Mighten understandably but surely this result indicates a stronger academy side and depth than what we realise?

The conveyor belt of talent continues.  I noticed Edser is back?  (Didn't he leave on loan?  I thought he was still 'out there' on loan?)

Anybody any views on how close any of these players are to the squad.  Asides from Mighten (and Brennan) who is cleary unphased by Chelsea.  He kept battering against the Chelsea back line.  He can't be far away from the subs bench.

Port Vale want Jordan Gabriel

Needs to go out on loan,
Jordan's a good player but injury has stalled his progress,
I don't believe he will make it at  championship level now so going to someone like vale would be great for him just like Jake Taylor.

^ what Joe said ^
Looked to be a special talent 3 or 4 years ago but injuries have done for him I’m afraid.

No mighten, presuming he did enough last week to make the bench this week.

Just seen that stast that Johnson has 7 goals from 11 starts for the 23s this season. 2018/19 scored 20 goals (mainly u23s) & 2017/18 scored 18 goals (mainly u18s).

The longer he's here, the less point there seems to be in Carvlaho with kids like Johnson & Mighten in the wings.

With goal stats like that, there's not much more Brennan can do.  He's clearly got his Dad's knack for goals.

Young Brennan and Mighten should be on the bench.

Aye, agreed mate. They can't offer any less than Mir, Adomah & Carvalho.
