Well you never go anyway so what's the difference ?

Jed is so frustrating time and time again he does the hard bit but the final ball 9/10 just isn’t there

F*ck me!!!!! Did I just see Williams head a ball and a goal!!!!!

Get in Harris’s mate......
First 15 minutes we look like f*cking Brazil.

Easy mate

Oi Cash, you’re two bob.

Got to say we look far more fitter and livelier than when the other bloke was in charge!

After that first half i dont think we are going to see much more of Jed Wallace at Millwall.

Possibly not but Villa’s £10m is looking like petty cash.

Smith ain't getting no protection or any quality service, his flicks on are not being picked up by the others and Thompson looks f****d.. But Romeo and Jed are taking the right piss down the right..

Good for the most part but think we will rue only going in 1 up, they cant be as bad in the 2nd half with their strong attacking bench???

I was just thinking the same thing Jed owned that half, he looks a class above every player on that pitch

please for the love of god if we do sell get at least £15m to £20m for him

We will never be able to replace him.

I am hoping that his love for Millwall means he won’t want to leave

He’s performance has upped his price. Nothing less then 15mil IMO.

Great 1st half but can’t see Forest being that poor in the 2nd half. Expect to see Grabban. Salak needs to liven up in an attacking sense. And someone needs to learn how to cross the ball. I just hope we don’t live to regret not scoring again

Is anyone else thinking how these players have transformed so much in such little time? It defies belief. Was the life sucked out of them so much by Harris? It beggars belief he never wanted them to play and must of enjoyed the fans getting on his back! F*cking unreal!

Sure jed has been watching videos of Ronaldo and his flicks. If that was ronaldo nutmegging someone sky would be cocks in hand creaming all over 10 fold!

Great game, shame we did not win but can’t fault the effort of the team tonight

F*ck you Grabban you little c*nt. Good ole’ shit Williams and AOB, eh? Seriously, proper spirit from the team, come on you Lions!!

Probably a fair result to be honest.

First half performance should of been built on but Forrest came out well up for it.
But good to see the heads didnt drop at 88th min when going 1-2 down and fought well....

Well done Wall, least we deserved, kept trying to play football and not resorting to hoofball. Bit more composure with our shooting and a ref who knows what constitutes a penalty and we would have had 3 points. COYL

I suppose with the limited resources Rowett is doing a good job. Jed worth ten million.dont make me laugh.

You cant fault the effort, still the final ball let downs, but its work in progress and so much better to watch! COYL

2-2 was a fair result, What a player our own Ben Thompson is turning into.

Well played Wall.... gutsy performance and deserved injury time goal

When you dominate a team as we did in the first half you have to make it count, we did not and let them back into the game. Poor result.

Im off to the pub for a few, enjoy your drying up.

Cant kill of games. We played like barca vs swindon firsy half

Williams supplies the aob equaliser, f*ck me that's devestated some. Told whisky
bloke aob fox in box, nothing else yonks ago.williams will put balls in where players should be, bit like with Jody Morris thinking 3 moved ahead.

Should have got man of the match, if such a thing is important, tenacious through out. Did The Pointer let the cat out of the bag at the end there, re Jed.
Looks like, early doors I know, but Rowett is playing football and giving us a team to be proud of.
Nice words from Jed at the end.

Moody's Confession.....
" I will be honest, I didn’t go tonight. True.

But I do also really write for the match day programme. That’s also true. Which is bizarre, because it’s come at a time when I’m losing a lot of love for football. However, I enjoy that because it’s about football past.

I do go most games. But wasn’t arsed about tonight. Didn’t jump out of my seat when we equalised. Which I would have in the past. I find going a bit of a chore nowadays. The whole experience of modern football is quite bland imo now. No real characters on the pitch or in the stands anymore. Crowds are mostly subdued. Rip off prices.
The only football I still really enjoy these days is the World Cup and Euros. And not really anything to do with England either. Just think they are still pure and unsullied by money. Players playing for each other and the badge (ie country).
So, whilst I go to most games this season, I imagine it’ll only be some next.
I’m glad you still enjoy it though. And tells it must just be how I feel perhaps.
Now, those dishes won’t wash themselves!"

If Villa was watching Bertie big bollox giving away a certain win, they will not be offering nowhere near £10m for Wallace.

Continued.......

We should have won that game, but having been where we were with four minutes left, a point is the least we deserved and we really should have had all three points at the end when Mahoney should have scored to make it 3-2. Plus we should have been given a penalty when Bradshaw was clearly fouled.

Forest scored from two mistakes. The first goal was poor defending from whoever was at the far post (Murray?) in that he should never have allowed their player to head it across the box from that position. The second goal was Jed's fault in pissing about with the ball and he got robbed, Pearce got done on the outside by Adomah and Grabban had a tap-in.

We really should have been 2 or 3-0 up at half time. We were miles ahead of Forest in every department and apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half, we finished the stronger and were overall the better side.

Jed was really good, unplayable in the first half, but without sounding like a stuck record, his final ball and decision making are the reason he is a Championship player and not a Premier League player. He got himself into unbelievable positions so many times through his skill and pace and yet each time he seemed to pick the wrong pass or shot or cross and he nearly cost us the game. I know he is our best player by far and I'm being harsh but he would be worth £30 million if he delivered even more in the final third.

Romeo was excellent. Murray got done a few times and he is so slow to recover and we really need a mobile left back badly. Williams and Molumby were good, Smith tried hard but got no decent balls to attack, Skalak worked hard but didn't put any crosses in. Thommo was all-action but he tired. What is up with Bradshaw? He doesn't look fit to me and seems a bit off the pace but it is hard coming on as a sub when the game was so quick. I thought Bod should have been brought on instead of O'Brien but O'Brien scored the equaliser so what do I f*****g know?

Some things to consider are that Forest, who are fourth, changed their formation to deal with us and a team who are aiming for promotion were very, very lucky to get a point. Plenty to be positive about with a hard couple of fixtures to come and it was a very enjoyable performance from us.

Sorry for the long post again. COYL.

Just a shame we could drop a few places tommorrow if other results go against us

More from Moody....
" It’s just a very weird feeling is all. I hope I get the bug back. Between 1988 and 2017 I reckon I only missed about 20 home games. Maybe if they bring back standing.
Just feel like the game I loved has been taken away. It’s actually quite sad."

Brilliant first half by far the better team come on the second half lost our game allowed them far to much space lack of closing down made it to easy for them but we got our game back on track around the 60 th minute & being 2-1 down it looked all over but a good late push got us the draw brilliant finish & didn't you just know Grabon was going to score when he come on c#nt still its another point we take that & go on COYL

First half we were superb, brilliant. Jed was almost unplayable. Snatched a point in the last minute but feels like a loss, we should've won. How the fuvk did cooper miss that header?!?! Fair few saying the kick on Bradshaw was a pen, not seen it clearly

Didn't look like a penalty to me but I am the same never see it that clear even though I was in west lower almost in line with it

Definite penalty. Ameobi blocked Bradshaw with his left leg.

What about our one man pitch invasion ha well done that man

Piss poor attendance 12thousand. Even with spunksport there.i thought it would be higher. Could have and should have won.but another point to the tally.

They moan about us scoring from mistakes but their goals were just as bad from a defensive point of view.

Forest v Middlesborough Pre Match
From Middlesborough Forums...

7-0 Boro.  Goal machine George Saville to net one while Coulson and Spence each grab a hat-trick.  Denzel to cry his eyes out into his Leeds United duvet and pillow case set whilst mumbling 'Marching On Together' and slowly rocking himself.

Positive. At home coming off a win. Forest drew there last game.
Negative. Forest are 13 points better off and 5th in the league. Forest have a better goal difference of +10 being, 20 better than Boro on -10.

if I was a betting man it has to be a Forest win by 2 clear goals min.

The City ground as never been a very happy hunting ground for us, we miss too many clear cut chances, I'll go 2-0 Forest with Lewis Grabban  showing our boys how its done.

1) Match Result?

As Rioch's Braves said, Boro very rarely do well at Forest...even when we've been able to name a full strength team. They've been going pretty well so far this season, so I can't see beyond a home win...and a fairly comfortable one at that, given Boro's injury crisis.

Prediction: Forest 3 - 0 Boro

2) With Britt seeing leaving on crutches after the Charlton game - Do we keep the same formation and if so, does Gestede or Walker start?

Given the spirited performance the lads put in against Charlton, they deserve to start again - after all its not like we have many better options available.

That said, I would put Gestede in ahead of Walker, purely for his greater experience, despite his lack of match fitness...but I'd definitely have Walker on the bench.

3) Adomah back facing the Boro in a Forest shirt. Money aside, would you have him back in January?

In a heartbeat! AA is one of the best signings we've made in the last 10 years. A fine servant for the club and I was very sorry to see him go. Sadly I fear he will be one of our tormentors-in-chief. If he doesn't score against us, you can guarantee he will at least set one up.

4) Best debut you have seen?

I thought Djed (is that really spelt with a "D"?) Spence did himself proud. Seems to be the way that we don't produce wingers / wing backs very often, but when we do they tend to be a bit special.

Looking forward to reading the Forest forums nearer the time to see how many they think they'll win by...

Ha I thought everyone myself included would be more excited on the back of a win.
I agree with everything you said. Same formation/team with Gestede in if Britt is injured.
I do have slightly more optimism however currently believing we could get 2-1 from this game if we can keep Grabben quiet.

Oh yeah, best debuts.  I suppose Ravanelli has to be up there with a hat-trick.  I also seem to remember Schwarzer in that same season having a good game in the first leg of the League Cup semi final at Stockport.  Pretty big game to make your debut in and the conditions were bad.

Ravinelli is a good shout Marco Branca scoring the 2nd in the semi final against Liverpool, and Festa scoring against Sheff Wed, when we realized we'd actually signed an excellent Italian defender.

Expecting a loss in all fairness.

Forest is an awful place for us to get results at historically, and it's not helped much with a depleted squad full of youth.

Would be very happy with a point.

Oh and i would be buzzing with a draw at Forest. I am gonna go with 1-1 with Paddy getting our goal.

Struggling to see anything but a loss but would loved to be proved wrong.

The City Ground is not a happy place for us. Add to that all the injuries and the fact we're more than likely missing noted goal machine Britt Assombalonga, think we'll be lucky to score let alone get a result.

2-0 to Forest and the Boro back to square one.

Oh and best debut has to be Ravanelli vs Liverpool by a country mile.

I think there s some uncertainty about what we can do not just us fans but the opposing Managers as well and this could do us a favour.

Will be happy with an away point but we are due an away win so why not?

I don’t think a 2-0 loss would put us back to square one. We’re going up against one of the league’s best sides so far, whilst we have been one of the poorest. Whilst it would be ideal to draw or (by some miracle) win, a 2-0 loss wouldn’t negate the admittedly slow but all the same changing trend towards a more successful team under Woodgate.

I think it's gonna be tough to get something from the next 2 games. I'd be happy with a point from each, I think that would also represent progress in not capitulating to better sides. Here's hoping, anyway!

A lot of fans (including me) still in that sort of subconscious playoff mode where we are expected to beat every team or get a result against every team. Tough trying to adapt to not getting a result each week. Torture for me

I completely get that. Feels weird after going from 4 championship seasons where there was that expectation. My mindset has changed the last couple weeks and let me tell you, I feel a lot more chilled out about our results now. Still ruins my weekend when we lose, mind

Yeah definitely. Im starting to change mindset now. Went from angry to apathetic, to why stress and just try and go with it. Welcome to Boro

Feel like we can squeak a tough fought draw here, 1 a piece with Fletcher grabbing our goal!

Honestly, the last two seasons, I never really held much hope of promotion when it came to crunch time anyway. This season doesn't even feel that much different to me in terms of trying to get promoted, last season in particular was one of the most miserable times I've had as a Boro fan so I'm all for what little positivity there is around the place at the moment, I enjoy going to matches, I still feel privileged to turn up every home game. Saturday was the next level up from that, a performance to be proud of, a deserved 3 points, no injustice, top notch.

Is McNair back for this game?  If so, and Britt's out, then I'd play

------------------------Pears

-----------Howson - Ayala - Fry

Spence ------------Clayton------------Coulson

---------------Saville---------Tavernier

------------------------McNair

------------------------Fletcher

Think it'll be 1-1 (Tav for us and them equalising in the last few mins).

Woody's debut vs Arsenal at the Emirates has got to be up there as well.

Yeah, tough game but I'm not sure a defeat puts us back to square one, mate.  We're going to lose games because there are better teams than us so we have to accept that.  But if we can win the games we should have a chance in and not look too rubbish in the others then that's progress of sorts.  I have more optimism after Saturday, not because we beat a bad side, but because we actually looked like a decent side while doing it.  I don't think we did against Barnsley or in our other wins this season.  But I thought we did against Charlton, minus the putting the ball in the back of the net bit

Sensible money has to be on us getting beat.  I'd settle for a decent performance, showing we're sticking to some sort of tactics/game plan, not messing with the team sheet too much and basically continuing where we left off against Charlton.

My fear is we'll lump an unfit Rudy up front, dump midfielders into the wing back slots for their "experience" and play like we have most of the season.

I think I would be inclined to play Walker up front with Fletcher. I think in all likelihood Forest will just have to much for us but if Walker can see the impact Spence had on Saturday then maybe he could go out thinking why not me to.

Im going for a Boro 1 - 0 because I don't like predicting defeat!

There are a few matches when the  fixtures come out & you look at & think, it doesnt matter where we are in the table, or our strength, we know result wise we'll struggle, Forest, Leeds & usually QPR away, after those 3 then fine

Best debuts & some good shirts, but I'll add Stephen Pears, our 1st ever loanee, on the 5th November 1983 v Cardiff at home, won 2-0 & he became an instant legend & the biggy for me, Terry Cochrane's debut v Norwich on my 18th birthday, 14th October 1978, absolutely awesome, we won 2-0, our 1st home win if the season, I'd never seen a Borough player stuck to the line like he did that afternoon, that for me is my favourite Boro debutant

Comments during and after Match....

Looks to only be a matter of time at the moment.

Don't know how we are still level, great chance for Forest.

We need to keep the ball more.

Like the guys are saying it looks just a matter of time. Hope I’m wrong but we can’t keep possession.

Dont look too great at the moment. If forest can gel together in the second half and overload our wings they could thrash us

Longer this goes on the more I can see us nicking it.

This has all the hall marks of a smash and grab away win!

struggling to keep any kind of possession, Watson must be getting close to a red, yellow card and multiple fouls, another blatent foul on Coulson

Last 5 minutes were better

Goodness knows how we're still level at the end of that half. If the second half goes the same way then a point would be a real steal.

Edit: better than some of our performances, but forest should be comfortably ahead.

Our set pieces have been shocking for so long now

Can't see us holding on but it's nice we ain't getting beat yet...

I  find it so sad that these days i'm hoping we just don't lose (and heavily).

I know it's no secret, but I really hope we get some new blood in January, particularly in the final third.

If the wing backs get caught up field though, we will be in big trouble. Lolley getting behind Coulson would be a concern and Ameobi driving towards the box against Howson would worry me.
We need to make sure we get a little more possession to stop the constant pressure

Crazy how Clayton wasn’t booked there

1-0 Forest
What a surprise, sit back for 60 minutes and concede

Ugh. Been coming from minute one. I wonder if we can completely reverse our mentality here to try to get back into the game.

Waited all night for that goal. My god we’re a poor team. Woodgate went into this game with zero ambition. Not a shred of belief that we could get something.

Actually sending men forwards now, rather than relying on solo surges and lucky reflections

We are really really poor aren’t we.

And just after coming on from a lengthy suspension... Johnson goes and commits a stupid foul. Dear me what is he doing.

What the *** was that from Johnson?

Shoot, man shoot!!!

Just another in a long, LONG line of p*** poor performances from this team.

I'd rather have Theresa May. She couldn't get Brexit done, but Woodgate seems be to be getting Champexit done, so maybe she'd fail to relegate us.

How are these players even professionals?

Penalty
We are actually going to miss aren’t we

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

Thank God Britt is injured

Get out jail free card for us..........btw wasn't a sending off because of double jeopardy rule.

Now sit back and conceede twice

Every time we break, Forest just love hacking us down. Must be the 3rd/4th time now?

Woodgate will be wondering if he can bring Clayton back on to see out the draw...

Adomah on.  You know what's going to happen now...

Hopefully he forgets which team he is playing for and puts one in his own net

Haha. I wouldn't object to that. Would pay us back for his behaviour against Bristol City

Been the better team since they scored, should have let them score in the 1st min

Thing is, if we nick a point then Woodgate will just ignore the 64 minutes of dross that led to us conceding in the first place and feel vindicated

These are dirty little f****kers

Will be delighted to get a point in all honesty an believe most of us would

It's about time we got some luck in a game. We have played better in games and lost. It's a good point for us this evening.

Absolutely fantastic result. Will take that any day of the week. Things seem to be looking up for as right at this moment.

Great result. Especially after going 1 down. Good to show some grit to get back into it vs a decent team

Valuable point, but yeah, this won't change anything in Woodgate's mindset, it will be more of the same at Swansea

If you'd told me beforehand - or even at half time - that we'd manage a point, I don't think I'd have believed you. Still completely inept management though

A verage performance but a vital point against a top six side.  Well happy with that as I expected us to lose. Anyone who doesn't think this is a good result given our position in the leauge needs to give there head a shake.  You can all slam Woodgate but he went back to two up top before we got the penalty and went more attacking so he does deserve some credit for at least having a go and then getting some luck.

No getting away from how poorly we were set up for that first 60 mins.

HOWEVER

There are a lot of positives from that game

- The result- very few thought wed get anything from this, weve got a point. Could be massive

- the reaction when we went down- couple of good substitutions from woodgate and a complete mentality switch.

- we are absolutely injury torn and playing away from home against one of the divisions top sides and had 6 academy players on the pitch and came away with something. Regardless of how we got it, that's to be admired.

What an unlikely point. Not deserved at all up until 70 mins but we changed tactics and stepped it up. Still needed a piece of brilliance from McNair. We need to play on the front foot from the start and stop playing like a relegated team like the first 70 mins today

I thought we'd win 7-0 so I'm disappointed

Excellent point away at a ground that has been awful for us.

Still lots of work needed as we looked pretty poor until Forest went a goal up. Then we seemed to play with a bit of pace and urgency attacking wise, which we looked a lot better for.

On to the next. Hopefully Woodgate takes the last 20 mins or so and starts the next game with that tactic and intent.

That's a good point against a half decent team, and considering we were down to the bare bones

The result's great away at the City Ground a point's a very good return in my opinion.

The flipside is that mythical 'turning point' that the Charlton win supposedly was I'd suggest wasn't we flailed around for alot of the game maybe 60 minutes we spent chasing the ball and shadows, still lack a pattern and purpose in our play we were better in the last 15 snatching a point's always handy but his winless away record stretches on realistically he might not get an away win until January it's a massive big picture red flag.

Did their player not get a yellow for the penalty? Thought he would have, he got a yellow a few minutes later on so I was just wondering

They had really poor delivery into the box and poor movement too.  They passed around nice enough until they got 30 yards out and really struggled to show quality. I wasn't impressed by them at all. Ameobi and Lolley occasionally looked like they would get the better of us, but lacked that killer ball. Grabban was a statue most of the night. I think Pears made maybe 2 saves and they weren't worldies. Forest flattered to deceive for me.

Personally, i dont think we played as bad as people are making out.

Yes, we didnt create many opportunities but that was always going to happen with having Fletcher as the lone striker.

We were compact in the middle of midfield and won our battles, but what was concerning was the amount of crosses coming into our box because Forest full backs were getting beyond our full backs - that shouldn't happen in a 3-5-2 formation.

For people calling for Walker to start, i just don't understand. We absolutely do not want to ruin this kid and at the moment i think Woodgate is doing the right thing by giving him experience as a sub and trying to remain solid until introducing him. Walker is very very raw with bags of potential but starting him could ruin him especially when we are not creating many opportunities.

Giving the injuries etc, i was over the merry moon with the result and i actually thought Woody got his tactics right (1st time i have ever said that). Maybe, just maybe we are turning the corner and a decent result against Swansea then it has been a successful week in my opinion.

BTW, should be on another threat but cant be bothered repeating myself but a Boro scout was at Hartlepool last night watching Randall Williams from Exeter like i said last week.

I have heard 3 loan signings and we are working on a deal to bring back Ben Gibson on loan. - Randolph will be sacrificed for our January business but i am told we are looking for another keeper to replace.

I just saw the replay of the penalty award. Was it even a penalty? Looked like a tight call between a free-kick and a penalty.

I've just watched it back as well and think it definitely looks like a penalty... Plus reading the Forest forum they believe it was awarded correctly mostly blaming Robinson for a very poor challenge. Credit to McNair as both the defense splitting pass and penalty are spot on!!

Santa Forest gift another side on a dreadful run of form a boost.

Forest are top 6 for now and can only hope they will be after what looks to be another mediocre December.

In the big picture scheme of things, there's progress on and and off the field.

They could do with picking up a win in the next game...and win their game in hand.

But my overall feeling is the Forest squad seem jaded and need a shot in the arm.

January calling.

Pre match comments....

In any season a point at Derby is a top outcome. Let’s bank it and look at Forest as a decent chance for three points.

Derby’s home form is far better than Forest’s.

Forest will be MUCH tougher on Saturday afternoon.

But both Forest and Bristol City will be miles above Derby this season. If we can get 4 points from the next two games then I will be a bit more optimistic. But we just cant hold onto a lead and that will ultimately cost us

Not heard the injury latest so could be subject to change but my team would be:

Dawson
Palmer Iorfa Lees Fox
Reach Luongo Bannan Harris
Forestieri Fletcher
Usually id pick Borner but Lees had a good game on Wednesday. Hope Fessi is fit.

Doubt that Forestieri will play for us again, be injured til Jan then flogged.

I'd go

Dawson

Palmer Iorfa Borner Fox

Reach Lee Luongo Bannan Harris

Fletcher

Be a tough battle tomorrow, not a game we should be going 2 up front in. Lee up there supporting Fletcher. Also not having an out and out DM means we cant afford to go lightweight with 2, so has to be 3.

The changes obviously conceded in the last 4 games when Borner wasn't on pitch, so bring him back in for Lees. Hutchinson banned, Odubajo too but would drop him either way, bring in Luongo and Palmer.

Bring Nuhiu on with 20 to go, either as a switch to 2 if needing a goal or swap for Fletcher if not. Other subs dont matter cos arent good enough.

More Wednesday comments pre-match.

We will beat this lot, confident today.

More goals from midfield to take the load off Fletcher and we've got this. This happens today and it's 1-4.

1-5 away win.

Good team Forest. Have some quality in their team. Normally would say I would be happy with a point but after Wednesdays game I really feel we need all 3.

We've only failed to score 3 times in the league this season with our dynamic strike force. A goal from somebody is almost guaranteed. I think it's 6 clean sheets so might have to revise my previous prediction. 2-1 to us.

We’ll play them off the park and have at least ten chances to score in the first half but at best we’ll score just one of those chances.

Forest will huff and puff and one of their players will fall over with no Wednesday player anywhere near him in the 93rd minute leading to a free kick and deflected shot levelling the game. 1-1.

The Robin Hood derby. He's from Sheffield so they say.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Pre match comments....

Saturday brings a return home against Nottingham Forest in what is always an attractive fixture. Despite yesterday's home 4-0 walloping at the hands of Jordan Rhodes and Sheffield Wednesday, the Tricky Trees are still handily placed in 8th, just a point outside the playoffs with a match in hand. They are, though, are in something of a dip in form having just two points from their last four outings. Another awkward game beckons and Forest have a 551 away record, but I see us getting a point out of this clash.

Made it harder by their shocking home defeat !
We have been totally depleted and never have a settled side !
Also a very poor keeper !
Hopefully O brien is back in the team !
Imo tbh

Having taken 4 points from 6, I think this is the game for the Cowleys to let rip, attack, attack, attack hopefully will be the message, all this safe football is doing no favours to players confidence.

Football is about scoring goals, not all this negative nervous passing away from goal.

I await in anticipation to attack out of our skins

Would love to agree with you, but could you tell me who is going to score our goals, apart from Grant ? Certainly not our midfield and it's even less likely that a goal will come from the wings.

He said that a couple of players will be back so hopefully a much improved line up.

Grabara (we will still play him even after Saturday)
Simpson Schindler stankovic Hadergjonaj
Hogg Bacuna
Kachunga O’Brien Campbell
Grant

Tough game but let’s rip them a new one.

Lolley will inevitably score so 2–1 Town. .

Sad state of affairs after our two year stint in the greedy league. It’s like being in the prem facing Man City not forest at home lol

Lolley had his chance here, and I wasn't too bothered when he went.

But can anyone seriously say they wouldn't prefer to see him in our side on the right wing?

Kachunga seems to be the first name on the team sheet.

Lolley hasn't been featuring much this season for forest.
Perfect timing for him to get a chance in the team and tear us a hundred new arseholes.

fraid so...

Hasn't been featuring much? He's started 17 games & been a used sub twice where he played over 30 mins in each. He was left on the bench the last game against Wednesday & wasn't in the squad earlier in the season against Charlton but those are the only games he's missed.

Is he not scoring as much then.

I don't follow football much now I'm over here, but I noticed he was a sub at the weekend. Seems like he isn't hitting the headlines like he was.

I'd still swap him for all our wingers though, and he'd be able to contribute more than the lot of them put together.

Not if we stop him cutting in on his left. One trick pony according to a lot on here
Lolley, thinking he has a point to prove, might have a blinder. Then again, he might not.

one trick more than our winger..

He's actually played about 200 more minutes than he'd played at this stage last season. He had more than twice as many goals & assists as he's managed this season with fewer minutes played.

I like the lad but I suspect last season will be a career high in terms of goal contribution. Read afew

Yeah I agree re poor Diakhaby

Even the donkey sanctuary would turn him away.

The one with the bad attitude, doesn't want to be here, negative influence, mercenary foreign footballer, yet still somehow managed to contribute more in his brief spell in the team than your mate has done in three years?

The one thing i dont get about our performance on saturday is that i didnt expect to see us so lacklustre with the Cowleys in charge. There were 3 points for the taking and yes we might have a depleted 11 out there but for me the mental attitude is still wrong. Slow ponderous and far too reliant on one man. It was piss poor. Forest will be up for it after their recent hammering like Bristol was. If we start like the walking dead again on saturday i predict we will get a good hiding

Just hope that we dont get a good licking off Lolley ! And the bloody keeper cuts out the shit mistakes.

They had a relatively recent flirt with the play offs in recent years.

Doing well under Bruce before he left them in the lurch?

Seemed to have had the basis of a decent side and Monk is the kind of manager that seems to get players playing as a team, a certain way to get results. He seems to have taken the players he's got at his disposal and got them playing.

Wed' now seem to have some leadership and direction which was, primarily (watching from afar) what they were missing.

You wouldn't say no to the two strikers that destroyed Forest's CHs and Forest.

With this game they 'elbowed' their way past Forest to get into a play off spot.

I watched the Quest highlights. Several times. (Repeated viewings didn't improve the experience.)

Headers not being won, 2nd balls not being won, players out of position, Wednesday players being left in space.

Some of the goals went through upto 4 players or a sea of bodies. While other times Forest players weren't tight enough to them or aggressive enough to win the ball in the air or on the ground. Just not closing down.

I guess the silver lining is Forest won't be that bad again..?
