Anything above 10 points would be an amazing return in such a short space of time for the manager and team.

Looking at the fixtures I would be a bit disappointed if we only managed 10 points from the next 5 games. I suppose that shows just how far we have come.

Fully agree but do we really dare start to believe we can maintain a top 2 position up to the Christmas run in ?

I say yes, bring it on.

Just having a little read back on this thread. Not really going how most of us expected is it?

6 points though from Luton and Derby will see us right up there. Tought ask though.

Bring it on. Nothing to fear in this league.

im just taking every game as it comes. have to admit my enthusiasm has dampened somewhat hopefully beating luton and a morale boosting derby win will do wonders.

^ I think that sums up how I feel right now Jock. We are only as good as our last game. Win and we are going up and lose and we are average mid table. Football fans eh!

Currently we sit on 25 Points from 14 games 2 points better off than the same stage last season.

A draw on Saturday will see us with the same points haul as last season after 15 games and should keep us in the play off mix. I am working on around 76 points to make the play offs and 90 for automatic (1.66 and 1.96 points per game average).

A tough few fixtures coming up so it will be interesting to see how we cope given the results of the last few weeks.
Here we go.....

That's seriously tough that run of games.

Bristol away is always difficult, QPR will be about fine margins, Cardiff is a physical challenge (hope Dawson's back by then). Millwall away is always tricky, especially as Rowett might have got them going by then too. And Boro will have probably sacked Woodgate by the time we play them, so they'll be improved too.

All tough and tricky games but if we are really thinking this season is going to be our season then we surely need to be picking up 3 wins from those games.  Plus we have a good chance to take points away from two teams who are round and about us.

It doesn't matter who we play. We can beat everyone and lose to everyone. We have been in The Championship long enough to know that it's impossible to predict.
