A pre season friendly in the Pl**t era.
And, Nene Park Rushden & Diamonds, again a pre season friendly.

Bloody hell Barry, it was bad enough going to the City Ground in the Platt era never mind Tamworth.

The New Den
Stadium MK
St James’ Park
Sixfields
Carrow Road
City Ground

White Hart Lane
Prenton Park
Bescot Stadium

Despite all that I’ve still never managed to see Forest at Wembley (new or old) for various reasons. Will I ever get the chance again in my lifetime?

Are there many that you’ve been to that I’ve missed out on?

I always loved going to Highbury, some great Forest memories there.

The worst for me by far was Boundary Park. A cold miserable s**thole.

Great list, I have only been to a fraction of them. I can't add any that I have been to that you have missed out on.

it was after the fire.

I remember that. I am sure there was a speedway track around the pitch?

Another one to add to the list

Koln Stadion - not sure what they called it then.

Least favourite grounds - Boundary park, , league cup midweek and it was bloody freezing. If I remember right we won 5-0
Ayresome park - boro fans were ripping up loose concrete on terracing and throwing it at us.
Anfield - been twice and lots of trouble both times.

Some great grounds and I would like to add

Accrington Stanley when 9 balls were booted out of the ground into the wasteland. The biggest portion of chips pie and peas that I had at half time and lasted nearly all the way to the end.

Layer Road Colchester what a dump.

And my Piece de resistance Forest vs Abu Dhabi when it was 0 - 0 at half time before Forest turned on 20 mins of magic before winning 5 - 0 Highlight for me was Cloughie patting my lad on the head when they went back to the Meridian Hotel. My lad - a forest fan, can't even remember.

Kevin Campbell scoring a hat-trick at Coventry I remember well I had a bet on him scoring 20 plus and he ended up with 4.

Many years later I was speaking to a friend of my partner who I had known for a couple of years when she mentioned her brother played for Forest. I told her I wanted my £10 back for the bet. No chance she has very little knowledge of football.
