Purely an opinion of course but it seems to have gone quiet on Podance and Vuckevic coincidence or the fact Mr Mendes is working on 30% of €100 courtesy of a certain Mr R
Bet your bottom dollar things will hot up yet again once that's done and I reckon we haven't finished up front and my hunch is he will be working on a striker for us, if we are Mendes' 2018 project then you make dam sure you convert those 2 loans to 37.5m sales and to do that you nail it we are near that point When did Jota sign for Wolves last summer late July early August?

Previously 31st August but this year it’s the 9th.

Do you reckon Mendes is finished?
I don't wouldn't shock me if another 2 even 3 turned up from his stable, the type of players he offers when the phone rings tend to be of the standard where it doesn't matter if your well stocked or not No doubt there's a plan but who knows post WC what will happen the EPL will kick in the bigger deals will start to happen and availability will change rapidly exciting times

Think some investigation going on about Mendes links to wolves and now Forest after complaints by other clubs, including Leeds.

The English Football League has concluded its investigation into the relationship between agent Jorge Mendes and the Championship winners Wolverhampton Wanderers, determining that Mendes “holds no role at the club”.
Some Championship sides have raised concerns about the perceived influence of Mendes, who has several clients working at Wolves — including head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and record-signing midfielder Ruben Neves. In 2015, Mendes agreed to sell a minority share of his firm to a subsidiary of Fosun International, the Chinese company that has owned Wolves since July 2016. The EFL said on Wednesday that it has concluded discussions with Wolves and that Mendes is not be categorised as a “relevant Person” under regulations and there is no requirement for him to undergo the owners’ and directors’ test. Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani was among those to raise concerns about Mendes’ perceived influence at Wolves, saying there were “evident benefits” of the agent having links with the Midlands club. Mendes’ most famous clients are Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho. |
