The next 5 games certainly look winnable, especially on a 1 game at a time basis, we seem to have a bit of a knack of maybe playing teams at the right time, the next 3 have all lost recently, Blackburn next got beat at home to Luton, thank you Luton, that has to help psychologically, by the time we get to Hull, hoping we might be playing them off the back of them losing a game or 2 prior to us.  The international break view it as a win, well, a well earned rest especially if we beat Blackburn and Brentford prior.  Good luck for October lads!

October Fixtures & International Break

01-10-2019 Blackburn vs Nottingham Forest      WIN

05-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Brentford      WIN

International break                                         WIN

20-10-2019 Wigan vs Nottingham Forest           WIN

23-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Hull              WIN

26-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Reading        WIN

I love the idea of being given 3 pts for the international break as long as it's only us!

Well, West Brom are probably the most likely to become runaway leaders, but they are away at Leeds on Tuesday, then at home to Draw specialists Cardiff next weekend, so we win our 2 games and WBA drop at least 3 points maybe 4, which if it is ok with you and everyone else, we assign to the international break?

I would be happy with 4 points for us. Not fussed what the rest do at the moment.

4 points would be a good return. Blackburn seem to do alright against the top teams so will be another tough test. If we get a point and 3 against Brentford then we will maintain the 2 pts per game average that would surely be enough.

I would certainly take a point at Blackburn and 3 points at home to Brentford if we were offered them now.

Probably the other way round for me.

I think Brentford will be a lot like the Preston game.

I would also be happy with 4 points from the next 2.

i agree that i disagree with myself, i agree with you about me thinking winning the next 5, it's ludicrous really

but cannot help thinking that winning away at Stoke after being a goal down and outplayed for the first 30 mins, off the back of losing 5.0 at Arsenal ....

i mean this is extremely serious momentum with the boost that it isn't about trying to avoid relegation or get within the play offs, this is about wins that take us top, this has to be differant, i think everyone has to be thinking beyond getting 1 point

every game is in every positive aspect a mini cup final

put it another way, i think we will certainly start better and play better on Tuesday than we did on Friday, that means only 1 thing right?

HT Brentford away at Barnsley 1~1. The Londoners look sharp upfront but make lots of defensive mistakes. Sabri is there sorting out the plan and looking cool whilst he's about it!
