A bit of a test for Sabri, to get them going again.
Playing against a team devoid of confidence on Fri, and a bunch of players who look like they are trying to get Nathan Jones the sack (judging by his post match comments).

great opportunity to go there and make it uncomfortable for them

Yep, looks a good game on paper but I'm so conditioned to failure I'm just waiting for the end of our good form to arrive.

All going to plan so far Sabricadabra.

Hopefully I’m wrong about the Stoke game and we come away with a win.

It could just as easily have the opposite effect and they’ll be fired up on Friday. We shall see.

They should be fired up, if we win we go top of the pile how much more motivation should we need.

We need to start strong and hard against stoke from the off. Hit them with aggressive tactics and get ourselves fired up even more and that will see us come away with a win. Need to put them on the back foot with a few crunching tackles and watch them shy away from the game. Start slow and delicate and they grow into the game.

If we score first I would expect Stoke's heads to drop and their fans to get on their backs.

This. Jones is on the verge of the sack. An early goal for us and I reckon their players will throw in the towel.

Yes, get the first goal tonight and we will win, hope we are on the front foot and attacking them from the first whistle.

Well the nerves for the game tonight are kicking in. I think it is more to do with the excitement that maybe, just maybe, we could go top of the league for the first time in god knows how long which has made this game feel even more special. Really going to be a case of which Forest Team show up.

Plus I know you shouldn’t look further than the next game but the games coming up are ones where we could actually win and by the end of it be sitting in top six, possibly top two, with a points gap developing from the mid-table pack.

Tonight Stoke vs Nottingham Forest
01-10-2019 Blackburn vs Nottingham Forest
05-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Brentford
International break
20-10-2019 Wigan vs Nottingham Forest
23-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Hull
26-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Reading
