Season 2019/20 Can We Finally Go Up?
i've seen enough to know that this Forest squad is definately top 6 and should make a few appearances in the top 2 during the season

the sort of question i'm asking is 'are we good enough to get lucky?' i think so, luck does come into it but the ability and spirit seems good enough to overide bad luck and poorer performances. I think sides under achieving and out of form have those unlucky gremlins lurking in the back of their minds and it makes it difficult for alot of sides to pick up the wins constantly enough.

I think most will agree they have seen enough so far to suggest at least a top 6, other factors like depth of squad and available spending power also help the enthusiasm keep simmering away

far too many positives for so early in the season

The next group of games will tell us where we are - all against teams in the bottom half of the table until we play Bristol City.

Last season we went on a run between the international breaks that saw us flirt with the playoffs until it kicked off with the manager.

A decent points haul in this section of the campaign is vital - particularly as a number of the teams above will be playing each other and therefore dropping points.
Here we go.....

Is it only me or does anybody else think that something just feels different about this season in a good way. Fingers crossed that this is going to be our season.

Would be great to break into the top 6 and then concentrate on getting into the top two. Don't want to get ahead of myself though.

Now fifth just 2 points off the leaders.

A win at Stoke and we will go top.

Hilarious to note that reluctantnicko continues to underrate anything & everything we do. He just can’t let it go despite the fact that his mate Dougie ( who I rate highly ) left so many years ago.

Lets go top by beating Stoke away on Friday and then we'll take it from there.

I think West Brom will take one of the automatic spots, they’re in a great position and still lots to improve on.
