I worry about you sometimes PSS,I really do! :s

Long season ahead, but looking more and more like Dawson,Lolley and Grabban are the 3 we need playing every game possible. Although we have alot of CBs, Daws' experience is crucial and brings out the best in his partner, Lolley is our only player who can win a game on his own out of nothing and Grabban is our only proven striker in SLs thinking.
This is where luck plays a part in the seasons outcome. If all of them play 38 games plus, then booom. If all three are injured for any length of time then were going to drop alot of points during that period.......probably December on recent seasons showings....

And hopefully this time around we wont get last season's conpletely avoidable situation with the club putting the manager in a situation where he feels he's got no other option but to walk out.

I think Karanka had an option Pap but his ego was bruised by the arrival of Dourekas, A bigger man would have took it on the chin and got on with his job. Back to Grabban, I would play him tonight for 70 minutes.
COYR!

The player himself should know if he needs a rest, hopefully he has a warm up routine and warm down routine that is helping the problem and maybe a slight change in training regime? Hopefully no painkilling injections in sight this season!

I'd just keep playing the same, or similar team, as per what's been happening of late.
The team will be on a high after Saturday's win. A win tonight will give them another shot in the arm for Saturday.

Wasn’t sure which thread to put this in but here goes. I was watching the Arsenal game yesterday and it seems like their team looks better when auba plays up top and not lacazette however they feel obliged to try and force both in as lacazette can’t just sit on the bench.
Made me think of our situation, if we signed a striker to challenge Grabban it would be exactly like this. Do we try and force them into the team or you have to find someone willing to sit on the bench. Clearly Grabban is awkward to maximise his ability, he wants to play every minute but is injury prone. However if we signed a striker for decent money we’d need to give them game time and potentially lower Grabban’s production. I think the way round this is what spurs do with Son, feel like Ameobi could do this job as third striker. He’s proven he can hold the ball up already, might not be a great finisher but I think he could be a short term third striker in the event Grabban got injured. Hopefully he won’t and it’ll all work out

Fantastic work rate today and great play for the goal.
Excellent again last night, worked tirelessly and a proper poachers goal.
Need to wrap him in cotton wool and get at least 40 games out of him this season.

Yep at least until January, going to be the big decision in Jan, surely got to get a striker in, the debate is do you go hard and get someone to challenge Grabban or a backup. An experienced loan signing might be a decent option, gayle?
