I'll update that further...

Grabban is on 29k a week currently, Forest are willing to pay up to 30k a week for a striker.

Ideally we would like the wages less around 25k and a longer deal but Grabban would like to keep at his 29k current point.

I think a compromise will be reached.

sounds a bit like the pantimillion situation.

I hope he does the business for us if he joins. he was pretty anonymous for villa at Wembley. he is our best option at the moment that I know of so hopefully get this across the line.

The entire Villa team were outplayed at Wembley - don't think you can hold that against him particularly. One man can't do it on his own.

NEP UPDATE -
Lewis Grabban latest
In case you’ve missed this: Forest have held talks over Lewis Grabban’s transfer to the City Ground from Bournemouth, though Birmingham have now seemingly tried to hijack the Reds’ move for the striker. Forest however, remain confident of sealing a deal for the frontman who enjoyed profitable spells at Sunderland and Aston Villa last term.

Unless some thing disastrous happens still expect us to grab Grabban. Also still think he will be in paraded in the new White away kit.

Under the Fawaz regime I would have been worried but under the new one I have much more confidence in them getting this one over the line

Marfur would’ve agreed a £30k a week deal & sat him down to sign a contract with £15k a week penned in by now...
