Murphy's off to Bolton. Contract cancelled

I would have kept Murphy as forward cover but pretty obvious SL wasn’t remotely interested in that option.
Good luck to him, never as bad as some people made out and a good pro but £2M and high wages he was a really poor value for money signing in the first place.

So leaves...
Clough Hefele Pants Yacob
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR :)

Hope clough gets a club. Pants and yacob will be more difficult to shift. Both a a big wage - yacob settled in West Midlands and will not go abroad.

Hef injured so no going anywhere.
Europe window open until 11pm, very surprised Pants not leaving yet. Glad Cummings is gone but there was a footballer in there somewhere, think he just needs the love. Clough, well goodness knows. I think we could probably add Milo to your bomb squad list too, Widdow. To be fair it isnt a ridiculously long a list now.

I think the emergence of Alex mighten has forced the appiah move. Forest wanted him to initially get a l1 club and had fixed him up with a few options but his agent had other ideas! From what I was told today there are a few at the club disappointed by this but the cash was too good to turn down with the prospect of mighten being at least equivalent to appiah in potential. I’ve a feeling we have a real player on our hands with Johnson but am scared he will be the next one poached with his dads connections.

Johnson, Appiah and Mighten are all elite level for there age. Arvin should really have broken through by now, and we just can’t turn down 8m for a player not making the matchday 18. Alex Mighten will step up and take his place in squad, and he is another fine prospect. Brennan will need to be playing regularly this season, as you can be sure if we don’t get up, he will have a list of admirers. Whilst we are a championship club, this is how the food chain works unfortunately

His dad is a level headed sort of bloke who knows the perils and pitfalls of being a pro footballer. I do not for one minute think David will put any thoughts of leaving the club into Brennans head. In fact i would like to bet that he would be telling him to stay here, learn the trade, improve and work hard and your time will come.
