Been told we will know by Weds
Must have given him a deadline
Deadline. Fair enough. It's better than being strung along so alternative plans can be made. Karanka wants players that WANT to be here. A sea change from the journey men signings of yesteryear. And it's good to hear the new hierarchy are robust in that regard. 4-5 days of talks. Then a Wed' deadline. Makes sense. He's not the only striker in the world, but I hope he makes the decision to join Forest.
If not, Forest press on.

still might be stuani if thats the requirement
It was a goal in every 2.5 games throughout his career by the end of the season which includes the 18 he got at MK Dons ( his career best) in league one.
He had a purple patch of nine goals in six games last season for Boro.
He scored four goals in the other thirty eight games.

Grabban scored 20 goals in 35 games in total last season, not bad at all

It is clear that we are going for it this year...failing to do so, and dont think AK will be here to see rest of the contracts we are offering these players...
Cant wait for the season to start now and see these gems in action...together...in the Garibaldi..

Or, alternatively, £5m is a bargain for an experienced Championship-level striker who scored 20 goals in 38 games last season, many of them in a side that got relegated.
A bit of positivity never hurt anybody.

For 2 big clubs playing under a lot of pressure in front of demanding fans.
20 in 35 was a top season under those circumstances.
