Absolutely no way that Carvalho is going to play.

Wouldn't want him to against a team managed by Joey Barton.

That's why tried to beef up the midfield. Would also be tempted to play Yacob in there as well, but get the impression, he is another player not really wanted by Sabri. Guess we shall see

Certainly SR. Why would we risk exposing Carvalho to a bunch of cloggers? We did that against Alfreton and we paid the price.

Our squad is much stronger with a fully fit Carvalho in it. No need to put that at risk in a game like tonight's.

I'm not sure he's actually back in full training yet, or if he is it's only the last couple of days. He was only back out on the grass at all at the start of last week.

To me it'd be too big a risk to take tonight.

I’d like to see Jenkinson start. He’s a very good player when he’s match fit.

Jenkinson has certainly strengthend our squad, no doubt about that.

Strengthened in comparison to last week, but compared to last season???Not to be pedantic, but I think prior to injury (and when back from injury) Byram was top class. That said Cash is turning into a bit of a revelation at RB and for me is better than Darikwa. His defensive stats were incredible against DirtyLeeds. Ironically, it was his passing that was only average!!!

Byram would have been top class if he’d played more than a couple of games before getting injured. That cost us a top six spot imo.

Of the new signings, so far I have been vey impressed with Semedo and Ameobi.

Still waiting to see most of them play though.

I am hoping get to see a few tonight make their debut, although Sabri said he wanted to put out his strongest side

for me to tonight

............................Samba.

Richardson...Figuredo....Worrall....Robinson

.....................Sow........Bostock

....................Johnson or Carvalho

Ameobi..............Mir...................Appiah

a good mix of youth and experience

Wasnt far wrong with that

For the majority of last season we had only Darikwa. Byram was back at West Ham and only returned for the last few games. So yes, Jenkinson has strengthend our squad compared to last season (As things stand).
