Will VAR be in use this season. Look how many extra points we would’ve got last season if we had it then
Everyone is entitled to my opinion - COYR :)

No VAR in our division

Have you seen the report in the post with the predictions from writers across the local papers?
Barnsley - Doug O'Kane (Barnsley Chronicle) is the first one and after seeing his 3 up 3 down i do wonder what the guy is on Promoted: Fulham, Stoke, Bristol City Relegated: QPR, Swansea, Nottingham Forest

I am very worried about Dirty Leeds. Quality manager who has kept most of his players. Fulham have a squad of quality players, most of whome took them up 2 years ago-though they could equally do a "Stoke" who last year were everyone's favourite to go up.
Can we go up this year? Possibly, if our newbies bed in, Lolley, Carvalho and Grabban play in most of the games together, refs open their eyes and we all get behind Sabri Lamouchi....... You reeeeeeds!

When the championship is this open it actually becomes harder to get promoted. It's going to be so tight that it i will only take one bad/unlucky result to knock you down to mid table. When the fixtures first came out i said we would have 6 points after 5 games looking at who we are playing and even with just 6 from 15 available i don't think we would be far from the top as no one team has what looks like a nice run of games to get up to speed. That is how tight it's going to be. To get promoted a team needs to have two periods in the season when they win 5 or 6 in a row the rest of the season can be mix and match.
I really hope we can do it.

I'm not normally one for looking at games beyond the next game when it come to Forest but as it is international break thought i would just see what delights we have coming up.
On review of the matches coming up i have found myself thinking if we are serious about getting top six and looking at the next 7 league games we should be looking to have winning streak of 6 in a row. EC 14-09-2019 Swansea vs Nottingham Forest EC 21-09-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Barnsley EC 27-09-2019 Stoke vs Nottingham Forest EC 01-10-2019 Blackburn vs Nottingham Forest EC 05-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Brentford EC 20-10-2019 Wigan vs Nottingham Forest EC 23-10-2019 Nottingham Forest vs Hull Other than tough match at Swansea and maybe Brentford who might have found some form by then we should be beating those other teams who step out to face us, if 19/20 is finally going to be our year. |
