I hope the club made their feelings known to Alfreton too. That one single challenge could affect our early games no end if Carvalho's out for a month or so.

How can the new coach organise the team pre season if the player which the team is built around is missing?

An injury to Carvalho and him possibly missing preseason or part of it is the last thing we bloody needed.

Fingers crossed he can resume preseason training soon.
