I don’t think for all his faults he wanted to rip us off...just an egocentric megalomaniac who had no clue how to run a football club...

Its obviously a smear campaign and not one we needed really. Most of not all nffc fans know how unprofessional Fawaz was - just don’t see the point in our new administration getting involved in mud slinging.

You know what? It doesn't matter to me whether he is entitled to it or not. The same with Scholar and Wray.
The fact of the matter is that cup, or any other silverware won by a team representing Nottingham Forest Football Club belongs to the club, irrespective of who the owner is. The trophies, like the stands around the stadium, are a part of the clubs history and are therefore a part of the fabric making up our club.
Al Hasawi didn't own NFFC when we won the FA Cup back in '59 so therefore he has no moral right to take it with him when he sold the club to Mr Marinakis.
In my opinion, the removal of any trophy taken from the trophy cabinet within the grounds of the City Ground stadium is theft, unless of course it is being used to promote the club within the community. Plain and simple.
If Al Hasawi did buy the replica cup to be showcased at the stadium, it is the property of Nottingham Forest Football Club. Not Fuckwit Al Hasawi.
It is the same as if you go out and buy the missus a lovely piece of jewellery and give it to her as a gift. The moment you hand it over to her, it is hers. If you later split up, you are not legally entitled to it back. It is hers. Same thing applies here.
My blood is boiling thanks to that totally deluded moronic twat of an ex owner of ours. I absolutely hate everything about him

I'm not sure if this is new news or not. If it is, it would suggest that our appeal wasn't successful.
Reading one of the bullet points for this it's not clear if this ruling is before or after the appeal. The bullet says:
The club was given leave to appeal the ruling but was ordered to pay the £5.2 million.
But I'm not sure if that means we have to pay because we lost, or we have to pay now but if our appeal is successful we'll get it back. Hopefully someone will clarify.

Who the f**k wrote that report?
When a decision is made on if we are liable, we will be given a certain time to pay before any financial penalties, like interest, are enforced.
We are also given a set time in which to appeal; no financial penalties can be applied during that period.
Now that we have been given leave to appeal, we do not have to pay anything other than our own legal fees until judgement has been passed.
Fawaz could have gotten someone with half a brain to write a report for him, other than that moron.
