Cool - improve by the same number of points again next season and top six is more than possible.

I'm thinking the dodgy goals conceded against Leeds & West Brom, and the disallowed goal at Preston. And the win thrown away at Norwich. That lot would've given us 8 more points. And if we could've hung on to the leads we had at home against West Brom & Milwall, then we'd be 12 points better off. And we're surely due an injury free season aren't we? How many times in the last 5 or so seasons have we lost our most influential player to injury?

We need a bit of everything. a few better players on the pitch, less injuries and a bit of luck. But we are heading in the right direction, only the pessimist will deny that surely?

Here are the odds for promotion 04/07
Leeds 15/8 Fulham 9/4 Cardiff 3/1 WBA 3/1 Stoke 7/2 Middles 4/1 Brendford 9/2 Hudders 5/1 Forest 5/1 Derby 11/2 Bristol 11/2 Sheff Weds 6/1 Preston 8/1 Rest not worth talking about. I tell you what I look at that list and think there is no standout team this year they are all much of a muchness. No one (bar leeds) have bought that player(s) who you think will catapult them upwards or improve them. This is going to be a very close league again with no run away teams. Actually more positive than i was and it's growing.

I reckon we have just as good a chance this season as any other season.
My glass is half full. 5 quality signings and we will be well equipped.

I am certainly more confident now than I was one month ago.

Lets be honest, who knows how good these new players really are and how they will settle. Most peoples opinions of these players will be based on you tube footage or hearsay. Our season depends on this new lot and how they can settle into championship football. Safe to say they wont have experienced the physicality of it before. They wont have edured the longevity of a championship season nor the shit weather we get. They probably wont have experienced the type of football that Warnock's Cardiff will exhibit so for all the technical improvement they will bring, I hope they have nouse and good attitudes to cope with the rigours of our league.
