I suupose most of us on here have never known anything different to how the Main Stand looks now. It will be a sad day when it gets ripped down but it's for the best.

I can just about remember when the Main Stand had a standing area at the front, I remember standing in it when we beat Manchester City in the FA Cup 4-1. Apart from that it is more or less unchanged.

Look at that bloke standing on the girder. Is he harnessed up? And not a yellow vest in sight.

Never seen this before, it's a photo of the old Main Stand, not sure of the year.

I would guess that photo above was taken around 1910. The boat club is also visible behind the stand.

Passed over Trent Bridge on a National Express bus last night and looked across to the City Ground. It gave me goosebumps.

Trent Bridge, with a lovely view of Nottingham Forest's City Ground, several boat club buildings, and Lady Bay Bridge.

The photo was taken in the 1940's.

Lady Bay Bridge in the background still looks exactly the same. Lovely photo.
