The 2019 Summer Clearout
Pretty strong words from Warnock, is there a grudge somewhere? Or is Warnock touting for MONs job?

Very rare to hear a manager question another.

I think when it comes to clearouts we’re pretty much restricted by other clubs willingness to take any of these players. So we take what we can get for anyone not considered an automatic starter or potentially future starter and make use of the rest.

Which Warnock?
Colin or Steven?

Has the clear out already started? Bonatini and Bridcutt seem to have disappeared.

Back on track with the clearout.

Very good point you mentioned above Wassy.

Who is willing to take Clough, Vellios and others too who are still contracted to the club.

I think this is going to be easier said than done.

Totally agree that getting players out of the club will be the biggest challenge we face this year. Only saving grace is that come this time next season a lot of players who haven't left will be finishing their contracts anyways so will have good amount of space for players to come in that will help us stay in the premiership.

I remember saying before that it will probably take more than one window to shift all the players that need offloading.

Be brilliant if we managed it in one window though.

Agree Frochy. We aint going to shift many of them even for free as another club wont match the wages. I would prefer us to pay up contracts for those who are unlikely ever to feature rather than have them sitting around and never playing apart from the occasional U23 game.

I know it's a crazy suggestion, but hows about this year we.....
1) actually sign more than the odd player good enough for promotion
2) build a squad, and THEN stick by the manager who built that squad so that they can develop it & build further
3) not make the bulk of signings loads of cheapos & freebies that can "do a job"

I can't beleive how much absolute toss the AK era has left us with. In fact I can't beleive how much toss we've signed on the whole since EM got involved with the club.

We'll always only scrape by if the players we sign are scrape-by players.

For me, that is the most imporatant thing, what I have highlighted above.
