Yes i did to, but our squad is huge so might as well go for moving out as many bit part players as possible and give the 5 or 6 appearances to the younger generation coming through. By having such a large squad we are going to be blocking a pathway which has made us so attractive to young players looking for a club.

I personally think that Yacob can still do a job for us and I hope he will stay and I don't believe we have seen the best of Soudani yet.

But is that not the problem tho we always say “oh but I would keep him as he could do a job for us” for say 10-12 games. Could does not drive improvement. Will drives improvement. For to long we have bought and kept squad players which means we don’t improve we just have the same level each week no matter who plays. We have finally seen we do have some impressive players coming through and those who when pushed increase their ability. So lets finally go get players who are better than could and will make a difference.
We are a big club and it’s time we started thinking and acting like a big club. We have accepted average and could for too long. We will have a good season next year, we will push to the end, we will go get the players who make the difference, we will demand performances each week and we will get promoted.

We can't have 25 Joe Lolleys in the squad.

Murphy definitely has a contribution to make. Soudani hardly got acclimatised and going before he was injured. 

I generally get bored of all this talk of 'clearouts'. Players and clubs sign contracts. It's a two way thing. If a player signs then he is entitled to stay for the duration of his contract. If the club decide they don't want someone anymore (and the player agrees), then they pay the contract up, or they come to an arrangement with another club for a loan, like Newcastle did with us re Colback. 

They can't just say, by the way, you got injured playing for us, we've changed our manager and the new guy hasn't seen you play or doesn't rate you so you're out. And also, we fans shouldn't be so quick as to write players off. Fox was a good example, hated by the fans a few years back, he came back into the fold and was pretty decent for us in the end.

Wouldn't want 25 Lolleys. He is a terrible goal keeper

But what I’m saying is good player but why keep someone for the sake of being good and looks like he would only be cover (from what i’ve seen under MON). When ideally it would be better to replace him with player who is going to challenge for a first team spot or a young player coming through who is happy to get the odd game. You want the players to push each other out of first choice position. Our issue is the first team players are unchallengeable from those who want the spot because we keep with good and don’t go for great and better.

Ouch! Where did Warnock say that?
Unusual for one manger to publicly question another’s ability, effectively saying MON is out of touch. Pretty harsh coming from a manager who some would say is a dinosaur himself.
