Ben offered nothing for Blackburn today, and looks like his career is stalling - I think we did well to sell him when we did.

He's been out for a while with an injury and yesterday was I believe his first start in ages. So no surprise to see him have a quiet game and get pulled off.

For moments in time, he looked like he could go on to be a world beater.  Some explosive goals.

And against Arsenal?  He tore them a new Arsenal. :D

Coming back from any injury he'll be somewhat lead footed and anonymous.  However, the deafening quiet of his progress at Blackburn seems to tell its own story.

He, like Yates and Car' is still quite young.

The idea that all players are 18 and ready to go seems a remote one to me.  Players develop at different rates eg. Marlon Harewood.  Late bloomer.  But it was the good work of the Forest Academy and Paul Hart (in addition) that helped with that.

Youth players used to get introduced gradually.  

Now in the age os 'instant' fame, success and gratification the expectation is different..?

I wouldn't grudge Ben his move or any success.  If he goes on to do well, he's an advert for Forest's Academy.  As a big lad, he probably had the advantage on his peers, but against some of the CH monsters of the Championship?  Not as easy.
Attitude is important.  Why try hard if you have a Range Rover?  I guess the hunger to succeed varies against that entitled and privileged backdrop.

Even Man U can't get a tune out of Pogba.  They should have 'listened' to Fergie.
