Yes let's have a full season of 3 defensive midfielders at home , long ball punts to Grabban  or Murphy ,  long throws into the box as our main offensive  gameplan  and letting the opposition have 65% possession.
Can't wait.

Yes.  But we can also say, 'Yes, lets start again...blaming a manager for a squad he didn't build...'

'Yes...let's blame MoN for a team he hasn't had a pre-season with...'

'Yes...let's blame MoN for a team he didn't have Grabban for six weeks...'

'Or Yes, let's blame MoN for Dias, Gonzo, Car', Soudani and Grabban not being fit...'  That was our entire Summer attacking line up.  Most of it in tatters through poor recruitment.

Playing 3 DCMs or two?  Does it matter?

Compare Forest to Sheff Wed' who have flirted with the play offs more recently than us...and Steve Bruce will probably believe he can get them into the play offs.

Forest are in transition.  Why?

Because our leadership fired the last guy (who stropped or walked...or something...)

The guy who said it was at least a two year project.  But our leadership wanted it to be a wanted to be a 1 year project with £25 million largely spent on unproven Championship players.

And they weren't doing it under Aitor, they aren't doing it under MoN and it wasn't because either didn't play them.

So x3 DCM it is until Forest and their leadership can do a proper pre-season with sharper recruitment.

'Yes, blame the manager...' as we have done for the last twenty years.

Funny how sacking a manager in 7th place never works...

Ive opted for him to stay. Largely because he may have a fantastic summer buying spree and get a good pre-season under his belt.
During last summer, most Reds fans were saying they would be happy with a mid table finish as that in itself would represent an improvement on the last 3 or 4 seasons.
So we have skirted the play off places for a few months, but we have not had it in us to get in there and stay there. Even under AK our form was dipping and we were throwing away valuable points.
Irrespective of who the manager is we have been far too inconsistent throughout not just this season but the last 6-8 maybe?
But the constant chopping and changing of managers has not helped this situation one little bit.
Cloughies first season in charge here hardly inspired confidence throughout the fanbase and as the great man himself once famously said...........Rome wasn't built in a day, but I wasn't on that particular job!

How can we vote for him to stay when he's playing 3 CDM's in must win games?

I'm sorry but that's just unforgivable.

The writing is on the wall already for losing Carvalho and playing not productive plodders, I'm not willing to watch that nor do I want too.

Martin had just a few games to go for it and the lack of any visible sign of doing just that, for me is enough not to want him here anymore.

Not to mention the total lack of pass and move, the non stop punts forward, this is Wimbledon of old.

This is what disappoints me so much, I really expected so much more. Rose tinted or not the last few performances have just not been good enough. The team, whilst not good enough for promotion IMO are capable of at least far better football than we have been subjected to.

We will never get promoted if we keep on twisting.

We'll never stop twisting until we change owners, a section of the fans, or both.

I'm going for twist but my hope is now that we can't get promotion that the mind set of must win regardless is removed and we start laying proper foundations over next few games. But team selection is just baffling me at the moment and i can only think that some players must be amazing in training to get in the first team squad.
