At least those fans are attending games.

If they are booing then it would be better if they were not attending.

Spot on.

Can you imagine how it must feel to have a crowd booing and groaning at you when you make a mistake?

I doubt it makes you play better.

There was booing at half time too, two points of playoffs and booing the team, some fans need to have a word with themselves.

What must the players and owners be thinking? Two points off the play offs and so called 'fans' booing. Seriously?

It goes back further than that though?

The singing for Carvalho when not selected has been quite vocal since Martin’s first game.

Two points off the playoffs really oversells our situation, Derby/BOro have one game in hand and BC two games. The booing was purely for the decision to bring off Grabban, it was only a smattering if boos and it was in part due to how badly we’d been playing in both this game and the previous two games as well.

As it’s been interpreted that it was for Murphy going on clearly it was a bad idea if it affected Murphy. However I think it’s fair that fans should make their opinions known if they think the manager is making bad decisions. No one is immune from criticism, I see it as constructive. I disagree with the notion that managers should just be backed blindly. They make mistakes all the time, although that said people don’t generally respond well to criticism so can’t imagine it’ll change Martin’s view right now

Yeah I have to say I’ve felt he seems to have made a point of excluding carvalho fairly early on which has antagonised the fans. I know it’s annoyed me as it just hasn’t felt he’s been given a fair chance during matches since MON came in. I’m not saying I know more than Martin but also I’ve watched every game and when you see Osborn starting in AM above him it feels hard to justify.

(By the way I didn’t boo the sub but I wasn’t happy)

Agreed.

Booing because an unfit player isn't fully fit and probably because of that was ineffectual.

He dropped him early on because he wasn't doing it.

And despite opportunities still isn't.

Perhaps Os puts more of a shift in, tries harder or does it for the team.

Car' and the other trialists from Portugal have had plenty of chances under Aitor and Martin.

Did they take them?

They're lightweight and ineffectual.

Tough and can play a bit.

Doesn't describe them.

That game in question was Birmingham away and Os was terrible. Carvalho came on and made a real impact from what I remember.

The other players (not trialists as we’ve signed them) from Portugal we’re clearly poor. No one is trying to defend them and to bunch them in together is unfair. It’s all about one player, name me a flair player that is also a tough tackling central midfielder?! Would you say grealish is lightweight? How about mount from derby?

I also think carvalho has had a good season personally in his first in pro football but as he didn’t come from the academy he has to be held to a much higher standard apparently.

It's about being fit for purpose in the Championship.

Dias, Gonzo and Car aren't.

They're lightweight and ineffectual.

Car was ok when the weather was good. The winter season found him out.

You don't pay £13.5 million for half a season.
