Him, Appiah, Richardson and Dekel have been considered part of brightest crop we have had in many years

A new 'golden generation.' This is what we want to hear, thanks, Reds73.

Oh yeahs...here we go...

Add that lot to Worrall, Yates etc.

Sprinkle some quality experienced pro's around the young crop...

So how close to the first team are Johnson and Richardson?

Are they ready to play a part as early as next season?

Arvin involved again, doesn’t feel like he is near the first team.

Nottingham Forest missed every penalty in a shootout as Swansea City made it through to the Premier League Cup semi-finals.
The Reds had already missed a spot-kick through Brennan Johnson in normal time as it finished 0-0 after 120 minutes.
Joe Coveney, Alex Mighten and Johnson all failed to score in the shootout, with Swansea winning 3-0 on penalties.
Forest will feel they were the better team over 120 minutes, but neither side looked like scoring, bar when Johnson missed the penalty, until a surprisingly pleasant spring sun went down.
The Reds included the experienced duo of Liam Bridcutt and Jamie Ward, while Arvin Appiah, Johnson and Kieran Hayes returned from international duty.
Forest were the better side, although each team only created one chance of note in the 90 minutes.

So missing penalties is not just confined to the first team then.

Have the young lads been taking lessons from Grabban?

Well whoever the trialist playing for the Under 18s away at Watford today was he certainly made a good impression. Scored a hattrick in a 4-0 win!

Saw that SR - anyone got any info on the lad?

Sam Byram played the full 90 minutes today in Forest under 23's 0-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday. Johnson the goalscorer.

What’s the next steps for him TPL?

Another year in the U23s, a loan to a lower league club or part of the matchday squad?
