I am sitting on the fence with this one.
If he wants to stay and fight for his place then great.
If he wants to leave or if the manager thinks that he should leave for whatever reason then I am comfortable with that too.

I think that is the best conclusion for everyone involved.

I find the price tag pretty damn bizarre.

I think the market value of 15m for Goncalves is not the actual price tag.
I think market value and price tag are two different things.
I just hope that we have learned a lesson in making these type of signings.
Neither Goncalves or Dias have proved to be good business and I think it would be fair to say that the jury is still out on Carvalho.

Goncalves, Dias and Carvalho then have a market value of over 40M.
In all honesty I think closer to 10 would be more realistic.

Looking at that we are probably looking at summer 2020 before we can clearout some of the so called deadwood. I can't imagine that we will be able to offload all of them this summer.

Looking at the 2020 contracts I do not see too much of an issue
We may have a a few too may in the middle of the park but with one year left the price will drop and may be more attractive to some.
2020:
First Team: Osborn, Robinson, Milosevic, Benalouane
Decent Squad players: Murphy, Guedioura, Watson, Yacob, Dawson, Bridcutt, Smith
Sell: Ariyibi, Cummings, Grant, Vellios, Tachtsidis, Ansarifard
Not relevant: Edser, Steele
