Nottingham Forest - Arsenal

Delap was excellent. As was willians. Dom in the team was the right call. Wood two years ago would have buried that. I don't know why he took a touch.

We went toe to toe with them but just don't have the quality to push us over the edge. Much better performance all way round as Arsenal let us play unlike other teams who will adjust their tactics to counter us.

Didn't deserve to lose but again when you play against generally better squads you better take your chances. If Murillo had scored that then probably goal of the season...

Yup. This is typical Forest.

Better than last week if it's any consolation. Oh and Wifey has managed to give me the Covid cunt for the first time just to make my day better.

Chicago: Yay.

Me too. Nothing going for us.

I’m sure it’ll click and come good. I’m certain we’ll be fine. But right now (3 losses on the spin, drop zone, shocking home form), it’s been a pretty grim start.

Pretty certain we go down this season if we're in a relegation struggle. If we're down there every year at some point its not going to go for us and we'll drop.

And out of the League Cup at the first hurdle . I remember laughing at Spurs a few weeks back joking if they'd score this season , now i'm wondering when we'll score a home goal for crying out loud.

So frustrating. A deflected shot being Arsenal only shot on target is so frustrating. We have to beat Ipswich and we can beat them.

I think that’s why I find losses like this so draining. We’re in season 4 in the Premier League and very basically had 1 good one. We have watched Forest lose a lot of football games under several managers with different styles and different pros and cons. For me, I’m not sure we’ll ever recapture the feeling of that Nuno season. The first survival fight was good, but that feeling quickly gets old

And I think this brings us back to Sniffer’s fair post the other day about how quiet it is here.

Right now, we’re looking at another season at the wrong end of the table. 3 relegation scraps out of 4 since promotion has been brutal, and now we’re in the bottom 3 again.

I think getting Glasner is WAS a great move(and I think will prove to be soon enough), but the summer was poor overall.

Losing again at home without scoring is tough to take. Granted today was against the champs (who have the officials doing the extra work for them), but it’s another loss.

It’s hard not to be deflated and I know I’m feeling completely drained.

We need something on Friday to pick everyone up.

Well, I for once am positive based on the last 2 games. I think we started to look like a resonable PL team, I know we are in the bottom 3 mid October but have only played 7 games so far, nobody has trashed us other then Leeds in the first game of the season.
Need to start scoring goals, not sure if we will have yet to find that player, maybe in Jan but if identified please dont f**k about just sign him. We are still passive as a team and always seem to start on the back foot, this is so important to address, we have to impose ourselves on the opposition from the kick-off. 3 points at Ipswich is a must to get us back on our feet, over to you OG and the squad!

The Cov & Palace games were far more annoying , today just had that air of inevitability about it .
