Another excellent away performance. Thought second half we were top quality and great value for the win. Villa have replaced martinez very well, Suzuki was fantastic.
Schlager and MCatee were absolutely brilliant in the middle, Diomande on full debut was ridiculously good. Delap was unreal, such a shame his second goal got ruled out as that was as an emphatic finish that you are ever likely to see.
This team is only just getting started.

Great team performance and the man of the match could have gone to any of Delap, McAtee, Schlager, Diomande or Munoz who were all immense.
Really pleased for Macca and glad he is proving me right after I kept backing him t last season.
Diomande so strong, powerful and commanding. He bullied Jackson and Abraham. Not many can claim to have done that.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Not after the event, but to me it was clear in this system, Ola is more suited to right centre back than right wing back.
right centre back in a 3 is not too dissimilar to right back in a 4
No problem for Ola, and less runnnig

So many Villa fans having full on meltdown on the social.
Excellent performance. In hindsight its probably a good thing we are out of efl cup, giving Glasner lots of time on the training pitch. This team can still get a lot better, feeling good.

The right hand triangle of Munoz, Macca and MGW is something to be excited about.
They can cause teams a lot of problems

Have to say, I can't remember us scoring such a great team goal as the 2nd one yesterday, for a long time. It is a joy to watch the passing and movement on and off the ball.

Going to be a challenge to leave two of the 5 centre back options out! Can definitely see the advantage of having Aina in going forward at RCB. Not sure who the best three are right now, does Milenkovic get back in?!

The goal reminded me of the back heel Danilo finish a few years ago, great goal.

Must admit that I was slightly disappointed that we didn’t sign a midfielder this summer. I don’t think Bergvall/Camara or anyone else would have fit this system as well as McAtee and Schlager. The passing, energy and forward-thinking approach of those two as a pair is very impressive

If that is true, then it is class. I like stuff like that.
Maybe Forest can put up a big poster of Glasner and Munoz in the away change room when Palace arrive.
