The Premier League
Got to say it hurts a little seeing the clip of Brennan and Jimmy Garner meeting up at Everton.

There's three weeks of the transfer window left. We've got a new manager. We've lost one of our best players but have strengthened our defence and don't have the distraction of Europe. Hopefully we won't have four managers. But we're predicted to finish 9 points worse off.

I get really triggered by these predictions. I hope Glasner and the players use them as motivation.

Sky Bet meanwhile have us at 8/1 against to get relegated, the same odds as Brentford and longer than the three promoted teams, Sunderland, Fulham, Palace and Leeds. That sounds far more reasonable.

Statistically we have fought against relegation 3 out of 4 seasons and have lost a huge player and our best striker is 35.

Whilst i dont think it will play out that way, i can see why a number crunching machine would have it like that

Agreed Deeside, unless we increase our goal output this season then I can see us bouncing around the lower end of the table again.
We NEED a goalscoring midfielder in adition MGW plus a top notch goalscorer, hope we can bring in these players, if so can see us just above mid-table or even higher if all clicks into place.

Rumours that Spurs have bid £85m for Savinho and Man City €120m for Enzo Fernandez.

85m for Savinho?! What are they doing over there? That's crazy the guy's barely got on the field for City. Spent 10-15 years building to this one window to burn all those savings on some pretty ropey signings.

I beginning to think if Forest held on to later in the window they would've got a better price for Anderson.
Obviously that was not practical in the circumstances.

I prefer not to have the drama drawn out across a summer, we know where we are now and can plan accordingly knowing the cash we have available.

McDurban I have been banging on about that on this forum regards Ando always going to City and for a large fee but we showed our hand to early in my opinion. We could have secured our targets first at possibly a lower figure as the Ando transfer set the bar for this windows silly numbers for bog standard players. I am only a fan looking in from the outside but transfer numbers at this level and in the future will kill the game as we know it!

You are of course wrong as everyone has been telling you.

Who have we missed out on then that you think we could've signed for cheaper? Think we got a good fee on Diomande and I'm not sure we could've got Schlager for less than 0.

Wassy, read this forum I would say that many posting on here share the same opinions and that it what it is an opinion. I think that if we do buy any further players this window that we we be paying a premium!

Opinions can be wrong and I can't recall anyone else saying this apart from you.
