If he actually touched it that was an excellent goal. Not sure he did though!

A decent run out tonight. Nice to get a win.

I would quite like Kali to stay, think he gives a different option which I assume is why we bought him to begin with. But suspect he isn’t content to stay and play a few mins off the bench here and there which is the likely scenario. We could probably do with recouping a bit of cash if we get an offer too.

Thought it was a decent performance tonight against decent opposition. Plenty of positives and some encouraging signs in the style and way we will be playing under Glasner. Some sloppy passes and defending at times but I’m sure we will sharpen that up in the final phase of pre season. If the first goal is anything to go by, then when it does click we are going to see some lovely football. Main concern for me is who will score the goals and still think we need a new starting striker. Hopefully one comes in.

Jesus did look a little lost in that first half

Yeah agree about the goals, do wonder if plan has shifted a bit and the big money goes on a starting CF and we go with what we have now in midfield.

Thought it was a low key affair and what you would expect from a friendly.MGW looked sharp and McAtee can take a corner. Taiwo looked slow and sluggish and showed why we need a new striker. Both goalkeepers for Forest not really tested. Saw that we played 5-4-1 when out of possession occasionally and also defended quite high on occasions which left us vulnerable to a fast counter.
Work still in progress.

Not much said about Dio. Encouraging 45 mins?

Personally, given he only joined on Monday and had limited time with the squad and CB group I thought he did ok and settled in well. Not sure if the goal was on him as suggested by some on X. Schlager’s miss placed pass gave the ball away and Diomande appeared to be slightly out of position allowing the striker to get in but Milenkovic seemed to be ball watching and Murillo sat back playing the striker onside so imo a collective c**k up
